Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Kiewa Bonegilla Road - 049493-13VIC-RTR
Narrow section of road 4 metres wide x 410 metres in length on approved B-Double Truck route presents a traffic hazard to vehicles travelling in oppposite directions.Reconstruct the road pavement to 8 metres in width and bitumen seal to 6.6 metres in width for a length of 410 metres.
Balumbah-Kinnard Road (rural road) - 049496-13SA-RTR
The Balumbah-Kinnard road (rural road)is a road train and B-Double route and the existing gravel surface is not suitable for heavy vehicle traffic and regular road users alike. The increase of heavy vehicle traffic has this road deteriorating at an increased rate and at times dangerous for road users.This project will be reconstructing the existing gravel road to 11 metre wide formation with a 8 metre two coat seal (14/7 millimetre aggregate).This project will be surveyed and designed to specifications to improve sight distance and gradients thus improving heavy vehicle traffic.Bitumizing will reduce dust ,improving road users safetyTotal cost of proposed project is $780,000
Sanatorium Road - 049498-13VIC-RTR
A 1 km section of unsealed road located between sealed road has increasing traffic volumes. This has resulted in an increase in air borne dust affecting houses and an increase in frequency required for maintenance grading and road pavement repair.Reconstruct road pavement to a width of 8 metres and bitumen seal to a width of 6 metres for a total length of 1000 metres.

Pavement failure, existing seal is cracked and breaking down, reached end of useful lifeReconstruct and reseal in accordance with Asset Maintenance Strategy
Indigo Creek Road - 049501-13VIC-RTR
Narrow section of sealed road 4.5 metres wide x 300 metres in length presents a traffic hazard to vehicles travelling in oppposite directions.Reconstruct road pavement to a width of 8 metres and bitumen seal to a width of 6.4 metres for a total length of 300 metres.
Abercrombie Road (Rural Road) - 049502-13NSW-RTR
