Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Sword Street (Muttaburra) - 049562-13QLD-RTR
Existing seal has become brittle allowing water to penetrate and break up.Rehabilitate the road base where required, seal rehabilitated areas using a 10mm aggregate and C170 bitumen, followed by a full width reseal using 7mm aggregate and rubberised bitumen.Total cost of proposed project is $120,000
Aramac/Jericho Road (Rural Road) - 049563-13QLD-RTR
The Aramac/Jericho Road crosses an unconstructed floodway which is followed by a small radius curve.The road is to be realigned to remove the tight curve. The will be constructed by placeing 150mm natural gravel on a formed insitu material, followed by a 6m wide single chip seal.Total cost of proposed project is $260,000
Eastmere Road (Rural Road) - 049564-13QLD-RTR
The series of culverts and floodways are narrow and often submerged, making it dangerous to traverse in wet weather.extend culverts, widen the floodway and road to 6m wide seal on an 8m formation. Seal using 14mm aggregate and C170 bitumen followed by a second seal using 10mm aggregate and rubberised bitumen.
Eastmere Road (Rural Road) - 049565-13QLD-RTR
The bitumen has become brittle resulting in the aggregate stripping and the edges breaking awayCarry out pavement correction and edge repairs using a dense graded premix, repair pavement failures and reseal using rubberised bitumen and 10mm aggregate
Fir Street (Barcaldine) - 049566-13QLD-RTR
Water running off the sealed section of the road causes scouring on the earth shoulders during rainy weather. These scours are dangerous when shoulders become dryInstall Kerb and Channel along Fir Street and extend bitumen to the Kerb to control runoff and prevent wash.
Bauhinia Street (Barcaldine) - 049567-13QLD-RTR
The Street becomes corrigated and very dusty in the dry weatherSeal the road by placing 150mm of natural gravel on the natural formation followed by a single 10mm seal using C170 bitumen. Construct ancillary road drainage works to protect the seal.
Barcaldine Isisford Road (Rural Road) - 049568-13QLD-RTR
The existing seal is old and brittle, resulting in edge break away and loss of aggregateRepair the road edge using premix and reseal using a 10mm aggregate and a ruberised bitumen
Charles Street Jeparit - 049569-13VIC-RTR
Existing kerb and channel is in serious disrepair, allowing water into pavement. As a result the pavement is being damaged under heavy vehicle loads.Replace kerb and channel, drainage and repair road pavement.
George Street Dimboola - 049570-13VIC-RTR
Primer seal applied to new construction in previous year.Apply final seal 6m wide x 700m length.
