Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Yearinga Road Kaniva - 049843-13VIC-RTR
The road surface is narrow, rough and uneven. This affects the trafficability and safety of the road which is a haulage route for farm trucks and also a school bus route.The section of road will be reconstructed for a total length of 450m. The existing surface will be ripped and crushed and pavement material added to give an overall pavement width of 6.8m. The surface will be prepared and sealed with bitumen for a width of 6.2m
Weir Road - 049845-13NSW-RTR
The Bus Turning circle is only part sealed and the unsealed portion is rough and has poor drainageThe proposal is to construct the road for the whole of the bus turning circle, with a length of 60 metres and an area of 650 square metres. this work includes table drains, widening and strengthening the road, together with a sealed surfaceTotal cost of proposed project is $60,689

The existing road surface has deteriorated due to high traffic volume.Apply a 40mm asphalt overlay to existing road seal
North Street (Inglewood) - 049847-13VIC-RTR
This is a section of unsealed pavement that has significant issues with raised dust, causing amenity issues as well as site distance issues.It is proposed to reshape, regulate and compact the existing surface to a width of 6.2 meters for 300 meters and then place a 6.2 meter wide 10mm primer seal over the .
Tarnagulla Laanecoorie Road (Rural Road) - 049848-13VIC-RTR
There is poor site distance around the bend on the Tarnagulla Laanecoorie Road and the intersection with the Eddington Tarnagulla road has poor alignment that requires realignment.It is proposed to widen a 500 meter section of the Tarnagulla Laanecoorie road by 3 meters including a 10mm primer seal and to realign the gravel Eddington Tarnagulla Road where it intersects with the Laanecoorie Tarnagulla Road.
O'Connell Street, Gympie - 049849-13QLD-RTR
The existing road surface has deteriorated due to high traffic volumes.Apply a 40mm asphalt overlay to the existing road seal.
Monkland Street, Gympie - 049850-13QLD-RTR

Existing road is in poor condition ( cracked, rutted and rough ) and requires rehabilitation to cater for heavy traffic flows.Rehabilitation of the existing pavement for a distance of approximatly 435 metres and minor works to council standard.Total cost of proposed project is $941,259
Meekatharra - Sandstone Road (Rural Road) - 049853-13WA-RTR
The section of road has worn down with use and some low sections pool with water after rainsReform the road and resheet with gravel, install floodways and improve drainage. Improve road design where required.Total cost of proposed project is $600,000
