Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Knight Street, Clayton South - 049876-13VIC-RTR
Flexible road pavement is in poor condition and has failed for approximately 60% of the roads length, it has extensive cracking rutting and heaving failures. Kerb & channel is greater than 75% disjointed and requires replacing. Drainage in this street is generally poor and requires upgrading.Construction works will include the following: • Replacement of all concrete kerbs on both sides of the road. • Replacement of all concrete vehicle crossings (between the kerb & the footpath) that are currently being used. • Replacement of all concrete footpaths. • Resurfacing of the road with a smooth asphalt surface. • Extensive storm water drainage works.Total cost of proposed project is $445,773
Bondi Road, Bonbeach - 049877-13VIC-RTR
Flexible road pavement is in poor condition and has failed for approximately 60% of the roads length, it has extensive cracking rutting and heaving failures. Kerb & channel is greater than 75% disjointed and requires replacing. A major drainage upgrade is required and will be incorporated into this project.Construction works will include the following: • Replacement of all concrete kerbs and vehicle crossings on both sides of the road. • Replacement of poor and sunken sections of road pavement. • Resurfacing of the road with a smooth asphalt surface. • Storm water drainage improvements. • Water sensitive elements to treat stormwater • Replacement of footpathsTotal cost of proposed project is $1,384,140

Road surface is aged and cracked upto 70% of the surface.It is proposed to excavate the old surface and reseal with new layer of ashpalt.Total cost of proposed project is $53,500
Colton Back Road ( Rural Road ) - 049885-13SA-RTR
Currently this section of road is unsheeted, resulting in drainage associated issues during rain events, surface becomes slippery when wet and dusty during the dry periods resulting in road user safety concerns.Apply a 100mm Crushed rubble sheet on the 4km section of road, form road and install drainage
Asthon Lane Paddington - 049886-13NSW-RTR
Road surface is aged and start stripping about 85 percent of the surface area.It is proposed to excavate old surface and reseal with asphalt.Total cost of proposed project is $55,000
