Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Old Ferry Road (Rural Road) - 049942-13NSW-RTR
There is 1,200 metres of unsealed pavement remaining on this otherwise sealed road. It is proposed to complete sealing this road over two years, starting with sealing 600 metres this financial year.The proposed work will seal 600 metres of road 4 metres wide with a 7 metre wide formation. This will include applying gravel up to 200 mm thick and sealing.
Wallaroo Road - 049945-13NSW-RTR
Pavement deformation, poor drainage, narrow road formation and potholing.Reconstruct and widen pavement, overlay additional pavement layer, improve drainage and seal.Total cost of proposed project is $405,000
Mountain Creek Road - 049947-13NSW-RTR
Unsealed road, potholing, water ponding, roadside drainage issues, slippery unsealed surface, sight distance issues.Reconstruct unsealed pavement, overlay new pavement, improve sight distance, improve draiange and bitumen seal.
Inkerman Street, St Kilda, - 049951-13VIC-RTR
Deformed asphalt surface has been identified through road inspections. The Pavement surface has changed from the originally constructed profile, which may directly influence the riding quality, water ponding and skid resistance. Asphalt resheeting improves pavement performance with regards to the strength and riding quality.30mm minimum (approx 40mm)depth asphalt overlay of the existing surface along 146m length and 14m wide (area=2,044m2)
Inkerman Street, St Kilda, - 049953-13VIC-RTR
Deformed asphalt surface has been identified through road inspections. The Pavement surface has changed from the originally constructed profile, which may directly influence the riding quality, water ponding and skid resistance. Asphalt resheeting improves pavement performance with regards to the strength and riding quality.30mm minimum (approx 40mm)depth asphalt overlay of the existing surface along 175m length and 14m wide (area=2,450m2)
Weemabah Road (Rural Road) - 049958-13NSW-RTR
Narromw formation width of 7 metres. Narrow bitumen seal of 3.5 metres. Significant pavement failure, deformation and high roughness .Widen formation to 8 metres. Rip, reshape existing road and overlay with gravel pavement 0.2 metres thick. Provide bitumen seal 6 metres wide.
Coolah Creek Road (rural road), - 049959-13NSW-RTR
The surface of Coolah Creek Road in the proposed work location is bitumen sealed, however the width of bitumen is narrow and the surface is badly deformed. These features combined present a hazard for motor vehicles travelling the road.The proposed work involves increasing the width of the pavement, overlaying the pavement with 100mm compacted road base material and bitumen sealing the surface of the road. Total length of the proposed work is 1.0km.
Maidavale Road Maidavale - 049961-13QLD-RTR
A moderate traffic volume road used by residents of Home Hill, Mount Kelly and Maidavale to access Brandon and Townsville. Road has narrow and rough surface sections with a rail crossing.Reconstruct to bitumen sealed surface 7.6m wide and improve geometry of rail crossing.Total cost of proposed project is $300,000
Borambitty Road (rural road), - 049962-13NSW-RTR
Borambitty Road is an unsealed road and the work location the width of the road is narrow and the road is on crest. Both the crest and narrow width present a safety hazard to motorists.Lower the level of the road at the work location to improve sight distance and increase the width of the road.
Old Clare Road Ayr - 049964-13QLD-RTR
A moderate traffic volume road used by residents of Mt Kelly, Maidavale and Clare to access Ayr.This section has only a narrow pavement and a five way intersectionReconstruct the road to 7.6 m wide bitumen surface and improve the intersection layout
