Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;

The road pavement is showing signs of fatigue, The existing bitumen binder has lost its flexibility and the aggregate has disintegrated over time.Resealing this section of road will extend the life of the pavementTotal cost of proposed project is $70,936
Old Stanley Rd, Smithton - 050095-13TAS-RTR
To mitigate safety concerns re the existing narrow unsealed pavement and to address dust nuisance to surrounding residential property. • Deficient road width for AADT resulting in compromised safety • Dust nuisance caused by currently unsealed surface • Poor, less safe horizontal corner alignment • Poor, less safe vertical crest alignment • Poor sight distance due to existing roadside vegetationWiden and seal to 5.5m sealed width and 1m shoulders for full 330m, associated roadside table drain upgrade and corner realignment, vegetation removal to improve sign lines though corners.Total cost of proposed project is $200,000
Wallace Street, Macksville - 050096-13NSW-RTR
Pavement of the street is in poor condition with potholes and surface irregularitiesRenewal and strengthening of the pavement by cement stabilization to a depth of 250 mm and the placement of an asphaltic bitumen surface.
Cedar Creek Road, Eidsvold Queensland - 050097-13QLD-RTR
Sections of the road have poor quality gravel with insufficient depth which becomes slippery in wet weather. Road has no crossfall and poor drainage.Gravel resheet with superior quality gravel to a compacted depth of 100mm. Improve road crossfall and drainage.
Upper Warrell Creek Road, Macksville - 050098-13NSW-RTR
Pavement of the road is in poor condition with potholes and surfce irregularities, indequate drainage and is unsuited for projected traffic volume increases.Renewal of sections of the roads by reconstruction with properly designed drainage,pavement layer and new wearing surface.Total cost of proposed project is $357,002
Rainbow Road - 050099-13QLD-RTR
The existing seal has deteriorated due to wear, tear and weather. Part of the pavement is damaged.It is proposed to stabilise the pavement at the juction with Daydawn Road and then reseal the 170m section in asphalt to join up to the section sealed in project 41.
Bluff Road - 050100-13QLD-RTR
The existing seal has deteriorated due to wear and tear.It is proposed to reseal the entire length of Bluff Road. The sections with no kerb and channel will also need shoulder reconstruction.
Minto Street, Kew East - 050101-13VIC-RTR
Kerb and Channel is beyond its economic life, surface drainage is deficient and poor road shape resulting in access to properties very difficult.Replacement of concrete kerb and channel at new level. Infill areas between kerb and channel road surface and resurface road. Install new stormwater drainage.Total cost of proposed project is $157,854
