Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Rawbelle Road, Eidsvold Queensland - 050146-13QLD-RTR
Sections of the existing road surface has no gravel pavement which becomes slippery in wet weather. The running surface has little crossfall with poor drainage.Gravel sheeting with superior quality gravel to a compacted depth of 100mm improving the running surface, road crossfall and drainage.
Boondooma Road, Mundubbera Queensland - 050148-13QLD-RTR
The existing gravel is very thin and of poor quality which becomes slippery in wet weather. The running surface is very rough, corrugated with insufficient crossfall.Gravel resheet with superior quality gravel to a compacted depth of 100mm. Improving road crossfall and improve the road surface drainage.
Reids Creek Road, Gayndah Queensland - 050150-13QLD-RTR
Defective headstock and girder on bridge. Reids Creek Road is on a B Double route.Replace defective components.
Victoria Avenue Redcliffe - 050151-13QLD-RTR
existing road is in a poor condition ( cracked, rough and rutted ) and requires rehabilitation to cater for traffic flow.Rehabilitation of the existing pavement with deep lift asphalt for a distance of approximatly 405 metres.Total cost of proposed project is $638,472
Tellebang Road, Monto Queensland - 050157-13QLD-RTR
Tellebang bridge is structurally deficient bridge. It is currently restricted to 7 tonnes.Replace bridge with three cell box culvert crossing.
Woodhill Mountain Road Broughton Vale - 050158-13NSW-RTR
The existing sealed pavement is badly deformed and is breaking up. Its condition is so poor that it requires reconstruction.The proposed works include stabilising the existing pavement material; overlaying this stabilised layer with additional pavement material; and bitumen sealing the surface.Total cost of proposed project is $700,000
Wheelbarrow Road Morton - 050161-13NSW-RTR
Severe storms caused the road embankment and pavement to slip away down a steep hill. The works will restore the embankment and pavement and arrest further movement.The works proposed include the construction and backfilling of a rock-filled wire cage retaining wall or similar and reconstructing the road embankment and pavement behind it.Total cost of proposed project is $150,000
Luthje Road, Monto Queensland - 050162-13QLD-RTR
Existing timber bridge has significantly deteriorated resulting in significant structural deficiency.Replacement of bridge with 2 cells of 1500mm reinforced concrete pipe. Concrete floodway to be constructed over pipe.
Sawyer Road (Rural Road) - 050163-13NSW-RTR
Sawyer Road is a dead end road with numerous rural residential properties, where access is unavailable when heavy rain floods a section of the road making in inaccessible for normal 2wd vehicles.Minor realignment and construction of the road including the installation of larger culverts to prevent flooding and loss of access.Total cost of proposed project is $175,857
Adam Street - 050164-13NSW-RTR
Adam St Jindera is key access road in the township of Jindera and an important access to a large primary school and preschool from the town centre. Inadequate culverts on a major drainage path causes closure of the road during heavy rain events, causing major traffic issues with the schoolsReconstruction of the road for approximately 200m including installation of larger culverts to prevent flooding of the roadTotal cost of proposed project is $355,111
