Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Golden Mile Road (Rural Road) - 050259-13QLD-RTR
This road is fully sealed however is built between flat crop lands and is subject to regular flooding and experience drainage problems. The road has become a main access to Dysart township and the surrounding mine, crop and grazing areas has slumps and dips and generally an uneven surface which is subject to breakouts in the pavement through the bitumen to the unsealed surface below. This has become extremely hazardous for traffic and is a potential safety risk.Dig out subbase pavement and backfill with type 2.2 gravel, stabilise formation with 3% cement, finish with a 2 coat bitumen seal to road sections that are deemed the priority on this road.Total cost of proposed project is $850,000
Bencubbin-Gabbin Road (Rural Road) - 050262-13WA-RTR
The entire 3.50 kilometre length has an old 3.8 metre wide seal that is starting to crack and pothole requiring an increased amount of maintenance. Some parts of the road have been widened to 7.2 metres and these parts have not yet received their second seal and have been damaged by Heavy Access Vehicles that use this road.The entire section is to be resealed with the smaller 3.8 metre wide sections remaining at 3.8 metres wide and the larger 7.2 metre wide sections remaining at 7.2 metres.
Beacon Back Road (Rural Road) - 050265-13WA-RTR
The surface can be quite slippery when wet due the the surface being primarily clay and there are some sections with large exposed rocks.Construct a new 9.0 metre wide by 150 millimetre thick compacted gravel pavement carriageway for a total 2.5 kilometres. New gravel will be imported, spread, water bound and compacted to achieve the designated surface.
Bencubbin-Gabbin Road (Rural Road) - 050267-13WA-RTR
The current primer seal has never received the second coat seal and the road has began to break up when being used by Heavy Access Vehicles.Reseal the 0.45 kilometre section of road.
Kerrawah Road(rural road), - 050268-13NSW-RTR
The surface of Kerrawah Road is unsealed and becomes slippery during rainfall. Also, ruts frequently form in the surface due to inadequate depth of road base.Overlay the existing surface of Kerraway Road with 100mm compacted road base.
Lambing Hill Road(rural road), - 050270-13NSW-RTR
The surface of Lambing Hill Road is unsealed and becomes slippery during rainfall. Also, ruts frequently form in the surface due to inadequate depth of road base.Overlay the existing surface of Lambing Hill Road with 100mm compacted road base
Bald Hill Road (rural road), - 050271-13NSW-RTR
The surface of Bald Hill Road is unsealed and becomes slippery during rainfall. Also, ruts frequently form in the surface due to inadequate depth of road base.Overlay the existing surface of Bald Hill Road with 100mm compacted road base.Total cost of proposed project is $38,089
Pine Lodge Road, - 050272-13VIC-RTR
The road pavement is deteriorated at few locations indicating signs of failures such as depressions, racks, shoving etc. The aged bitumen spray seal requires renewalStabilise the deteriorated section of the pavement with a suitable stabilising agent and spray seal the whole road section.
Flags Rockedgial Road (rural road), - 050273-13NSW-RTR
The surface of Flags Rockedgial Road is unsealed and becomes slippery during rainfall. Also, ruts frequently form in the surface due to inadequate depth of road base.Overlay the existing surface of Flags Rockedgial Road with 100mm compacted road base.
Collier Road(rural road), - 050274-13NSW-RTR
The surface of Collier Road is unsealed and becomes slippery during rainfall. Also, ruts frequently form in the surface due to inadequated depth of road base.Overlay the existing surface of Collier Road with 100mm compacted road base.Total cost of proposed project is $25,058
