Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Yendon-Egerton Road, Lal Lal - 050407-13VIC-RTR
This section of road has insufficient sight distance and requires rehabilitation of existing pavmement, and a realignment to increase the safety of road users. The existing pavement has numerous depressions.This project includes reconstruction of existing pavement and realignment works for a length of 800m. The project includes drainage improvements, linemarking, guardrail and guidepost installation.Total cost of proposed project is $630,000
Archibald Street - 050408-13WA-RTR
Due to increase in traffic volume,bitumen width is only 6 metres which is causing trucks to drive up onto footpath when passing other vehicles. School buses unable to pull off to do pickups as road is too narrow.Increase bitumen seal width to 7.4 metres wide. Lay new kerbing and shift footpath across 1 metre. Install drainage down north side of road. Increase size of turning radi at both intersections to accommadate truck turning circles.Total cost of proposed project is $170,060
Bradleys Lane, Glen Innes - 050409-13NSW-RTR
The road pavement has numerous failures, requiring regular routine maintenance to patch potholes and rectify the shape of the road formation, and provides a rough surface for motorists.Rehabilitation, including reshaping road verges and table drains to improve drainage and minimise water ingress into pavement; ripping the existing surface; minor widening and resheeting the road with a layer of gravel to improve the pavement strength; and bitumen sealing the road to 5.5 metres in width.
Red Range Road (Rural Road) - 050410-13NSW-RTR
The road pavement has numerous failures, requiring regular routine maintenance to patch potholes and rectify other pavement defects.Rehabilitation, including minor realignment, reshaping road verges to improve drainage and minimise water ingress into pavement; ripping the existing surface and resheeting the road with a layer of gravel to improve the pavement strength; and bitumen sealing the road to 6.2 metres in width.
Lang Street, Glen Innes - 050411-13NSW-RTR
The road pavement has numerous failures, requiring regular routine maintenance to patch potholes and rectify other pavement defects.Rehabilitation, including reshaping road verges to improve drainage and minimise water ingress into pavement; ripping the existing surface, stabilisation or replacement of the existing road pavement, and bitumen sealing the road to 10.8 metres in width.Total cost of proposed project is $134,732
Grahams Valley Road (Rural Road) - 050413-13NSW-RTR
The existing causeway is very poor condition, with significant undermining leading to loss of support to the concrete.Construct headwalls on either side of the culvert and fill the void with concrete to improve the structural integrity of the causeway.
Walters Street, Glen Aplin - 050414-13QLD-RTR
The current road is a gravel road which requires frequent grading as more traffic uses this road. Sealing will extend the life of the road.Overlay additional gravel and two coats of bitumen sealing.
Nine Mile Road (Rural Road) - 050415-13NSW-RTR
Existing timber bridge girders have failed, resulting in the bridge having a load limit which prevents the passage of heavy vehicles.Construct sidetrack pending bridge replacement.
Gemmel Road, Glen Aplin - 050416-13QLD-RTR
The current road is a gravel road which requires frequent grading as more traffic uses this road and sealing will extend the life of the road.Overlay additional gravel and two coats of bitumen sealing.
Hoeys Road, Spring Creek - 050417-13QLD-RTR
This is one of the link road between Southern Downs Regional Council & Toowoomba Regional Council. Rutting (pavement failure along the wheel path) of the road at various locations to be rehabilitated.Remove and replace subgrade (natural soil beneath the road) material, lay new gravel and two coats of bitumen sealing.
