Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Tarwoona Road (Rural Road) - 050596-13NSW-RTR
The bitumen surface and pavement are damaged.It is proposed to rehabilitate pavement and reseal road.
Copeton Dam Road (Rural Road) - 050597-13NSW-RTR
The reoad is narrow with damaged pavement.It is proposed to rehabilitate and widen road.
Halletts Road, Redbank Plains - 050609-13QLD-RTR
Poor road pavement. This section of the road is in poor condition due to its age and needs to be replaced. The problem is exacerbated by a lack of suitable drainage at road edges.Pavement rehabilitation of a 380m long section of road in order to extend its life and improve road safety, including installation of kerb and channelling.Total cost of proposed project is $1,222,000
Richards Street in Carnarvon - 050631-13WA-RTR
The age of the current seal has passed its useful life putting the sub-structure of the road at risk.Reseal for a distance of 550m
Miltaburra Road - (Rural Road, Carawa) - 050634-13SA-RTR
Sections of existing road base have worn through and sub-grade is exposed. Surface is rough and has localized failuresShape existing material to improve horizontal and vertical alignment. Reapply rubble to the surface and provide traffic control and signage.
Decres Bay Road - (Rural Road, Ceduna) - 050635-13SA-RTR
Sections of existing road surface are worn through causing road to break up.Reshape existing surface, apply rubble and install signage and delineation.
McNamara Road - (Rural Road) - 050640-13NSW-RTR
Reseal the wearing surface to provide a safe riding surface and reduce the need for more expensive rehabilitation by waterproofing the pavement.Reseal approximately 4.32km of the wearing surface with 7mm aggregate, C170 binder and adhesion agent and linemarking
Old Aerodrome Road - (Rural Road) - 050641-13NSW-RTR
This 2.5km section of road was constructed and sealed in August 2013 with a Primer seal only and it now requires the application of a Final Seal/Reseal over the entire length.To finalise construction of the 1.65km length of Old Aerodrome Road and .850km length of Old Aerodrome Road (a section previously known as Kalinda Road) by the application of a Final seal using 10mm aggregate, C170 binder and linemarking.Total cost of proposed project is $91,192
Newmans Creek Road Koonya - 050642-13TAS-RTR
The existing Timber bridge deck needs to be replaced as it is susceptible to collapes due to the heavy trucks and machinery that go over it to the quarry further up Newmans Creek Road.Timber deck to be replaced with a concrete deck, rock stabilisation to be undertaken on the approach and departure and armco railing to be installed.Total cost of proposed project is $37,624
Toorongo Valley Road, Vesper - 050643-13VIC-RTR
Road section requires constant maintenance in current condition. Pavement upgraded to cater for increased traffic using road to access Toorongo falls and camping area.Pavement widening, resheet with C12 & bituminous seal. The seal will be 5.6m wide.Total cost of proposed project is $343,845
