Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Parker Street, Bega - 051082-13NSW-RTR
The road has deteriorated rapidly over the last 12 months due to a major redevelopment in the Bega centre. The pavement strength is inadequate to support the increased traffic loads and requires strengthening.The road pavement will be strengthened using pavement stabiliser.

White Well Road (Rural Road) - 051085-13WA-RTR
This section of unsealed road has been badly degraded by the high level of heavy traffic and is in a very poor state of repair. Also rock on the road surface.Gravel Resheet and clearing of back slopes of vegetation overgrowth

Road surface becomes slippery in wet weather and rough and corrugated in dry times causing considerable dust problemsBitumen seal road surface
Barham River Road (Rural Road ) - 051088-13VIC-RTR
Failed areas of pavement and narrow sealRepair failed areas of pavement and construct the shoulders to provide a 6.2m wide sealed road.Total cost of proposed project is $192,805
Dower Street, Mandurah - 051089-13WA-RTR
The existing pavement wearing course has deteriorated to the extent where it is no longer considered serviceable. Extensive patching, stripping and localised surface defects exist across the entire road segment. The surface no longer performs its intended function of preventing moisture ingress into the unbound pavement base layers. Resurfacing is required to ensure the pavement structure is not compromised and the road can reach its intended design life.Apply 25mm AC10 Hotmix Asphalt resurfacing treatment as per extent of works shown on locality diagram. Raise existing drainage pits to match new surface levels where required.
Cowards Road, Charters Towers - 051090-13QLD-RTR
The existing seal has deteriorated due to wear and tear.It is proposed to reseal the 1.3km length of Cowards Road at the exisitng width of 6m.
Elizabeth Street, Charters Towers - 051091-13QLD-RTR
The exisiting seal has deteriorated due to wear and tear.It is proposed to reseal the full, 690m length of Elizabeth Street from Mosman Street to Felix Street conforming to the existing widths.
Millett Street, Charters Towers - 051092-13QLD-RTR
The existing seal has deteriorated due to wear and tear from traffic.It is proposed to reseal the 1.11km length from Duke Street to Blackjack Road. The junction at Chloride Street is propsed to be resealed in asphalt to prevent continuing road damage by turning heavy vehicles.Total cost of proposed project is $217,507
