Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Lyalls Road, Colebrook - 051410-13TAS-RTR
The existing wooden bridge has been assessed as being in poor condition and is due for total replacement.To constuct a new pre-cast single span concrete bridge 12 metres long x 4.8 metres wide. The new bridge will be build on the same alignment with the exisiting bridge being demolished and removed in advance.
Interlaken Road, Oatlands - 051411-13TAS-RTR
In this location there is an extremely sharp bend on a narrow section section of road. There is inadequate sight distance, taking into account the level of traffic and size of the vehciles which used the road.Excavation of rock embankment for a distance of approximately 200 metres to improve sight distance. The work will provide for a minor realignemnt of the road in this location.
Stonor Road, Stonor - 051412-13TAS-RTR
Deteriorated road pavement due to age of seal and sub-base. Evidence of cracking and potholes which will require repair and reseal of pavement.Reconstruct and seal 1.0 kilometre of sealed road to a width of 5.50 metres. The reconstruction process will involve excavation of side drains, placement of additional road base materials, re-stabilisation and seal.
Greenstead Lane, Randwick - 051413-13NSW-RTR
Laneway pavement with potholes, poor shape and edge problems due to no kerb and gutter.Formalise road with Kerb and Gutter and reconstructuct asphalt pavement with 50mm wearing course.Total cost of proposed project is $85,040
Hooley Road - 051414-13WA-RTR
The area of the roundabout and the approach legs have very bad cracking and some kerb damage.Removal of the old asphalt, some kerb and drainage repairs. Overlay with a new red asphalt top layer.Total cost of proposed project is $78,224
Brooms Head Road (Rural Road) - 051415-13NSW-RTR
The road pavement is narrow, has failed in sections and has a rough and uneven surface.The proposed works will widen and strengthen the existing pavement with a 200 mm gravel overlay to allow for an 8 metres wide sealed pavement.
Quinliven Road, Aldinga Beach. - 051416-13SA-RTR
Road is failing and is in need of an upgrade due to significant development in the area.Reconstruct, kerb and widen. Remove existing road pavement, kerbs and footpaths. Construct a new stronger pavement, including provision for parking, turn lanes, kerbing and footpaths. Construct indented bus bays, bus boarding pads and school crossing.Total cost of proposed project is $1,566,113
Bennett Street Jerramungup - 051417-13WA-RTR
Significant pavement failures and drainage failures due to road levels.Removal of existing failed seal and replacement of 200mm of road base. The road will be re-levelled and drainage lines reconstructed to tie into the existing storm water network.Total cost of proposed project is $53,888
Marapana Road, City Beach. - 051419-13WA-RTR
Old, cracked asphalt seal.Mill off old asphalt seal and resurface with new asphalt. Width 8.2 metres. Length 300 metres.Total cost of proposed project is $61,313
Black Spot site eligibility
Funding is available for the treatment of Black Spot sites, or road lengths, with a proven history of crashes.
