Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Redbank Road (Rural Road) - 116562-21NSW-RTR

Due to the recent development of the new TAFE complex on Auckland street the road has experienced construction well exceeding normal levels along with a watermain upgrade for the tafe which has seen multiple road crossing for services cut in. this has resulted in numerous areas of failures from heavy plant and vehicles within the roadway transverse patches from the services which severely impact on ride comfort for motorist.Pavement Stabilisation
Tathra Road, Kalaru - 116540-21NSW-RTR
Pavement deformations have occurred throughout Kalaru as increased traffic volumes have been present in the village after the construction of 2 significant subdivisions within the village and the rebuilding of Tathra after the bushfires. In recent times with the multiple flooding events and increased development within the area drainage issues have arisen which need to be addressed as they are causing localised flooding of the roadway and potholing along the road.Drainage upgrade and pavement renewalTotal cost of proposed project is $1,801,851

Jalan Bunga Mawar, Home Island - 116564-21WA-RTR
Pavers are at the end of their useful life and deteriorating, making the road unsafe for road users and pedestrians. The Home Island paved road network provides access to vehicles and a high number of local and visiting pedestrians accessing Home Island's businesses and amenities.Works crew will remove existing broken pavers and flush kerbs. Once removed the road pavement will be recompacted, larger flush concrete kerbs will be installed and new pavers will be laid on the reconstructed pavement.
Peweena Road, Mingbool - 116565-21SA-RTR
Road is unsafe due to increased heavy traffic servicing the local dairy industry causing water to pool on the road. Water cannot drain off the road due to ruts forming on the road pavement. Forms part of the infrastructure asset improvement plan for the Mingbool locality.Reconstruct and seal road 1,200 metres section, 8 metres wideTotal cost of proposed project is $163,420
Sewarts Road, Allendale - 116566-21SA-RTR
Road is unsafe due to increased heavy traffic from milk tankers servicing the local dairies causing water to pool on the road. Water cannot drain off the road due to ruts forming on the road pavement. Old Goombungee Road, Woolmer - 116570-21QLD-RTR
This section of road (1.2km in length) has been identified by Toowoomba Regional Council asset management system as requiring pavement rehabilitation works. The road is in poor condition and features numerous failures and extensive rutting and shape loss. The road has a high traffic volume and is an important link between Meringandan, and Toowoomba. In assocation with the pavement rehabilitation work the road pavement depths will be increased.Reconstruct the pavement to existing 7.0m seal width standard.Total cost of proposed project is $1,230,684
Greenmount Etonvale Road, Greenmount - 116571-21QLD-RTR
This section of road (5.6km in length) has been identified by Toowoomba Regional Council asset management system as requiring pavement rehabilitation works. The road is in poor condition and features numerous failures and extensive rutting and shape loss. The road has a high traffic volume and is an important link between Greenmount, Etonvale, and Cambooya. It acts as a main road link connecting regions towns without use of New England Highway. In association with the pavement rehabilitation work the road pavement depths will be increased.Reconstruct the pavement to existing 9.0m seal width standard.Total cost of proposed project is $1,502,147
