Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

The intersection of Court Street and Kurrajong Street form part of the shire's road network within the industrial area and is currently not rated for Heavy Vehicle use, the junction requires upgrade to facilitate the classes of heavy vehicles traversing roads within the industrial area Widening the approaches and swept paths at the junction to a suitable standard for heavy vehicles and asphalt overlay the existing and widenings with 40mm asphalt

Aged bitumen has deteriorated forming cracks and potholes creating a safety risk for users.Bitumen reseal length of road 240m by 7m.
Tandarra Elmore Rd (Rural Rd) - 121446-22VIC-RTR
The seal is in poor condition.It is proposed to apply a reseal.
Grassmere Road (rural road) - 121467-22NSW-RTR
Existing seal is narrow and has reached end of its life.Minimum widening will be undertaken to repair edge break and restore a 3.6 metre seal width and road will then be resealed.
Springvale Road (Rural road) - 121466-22NSW-RTR
Existing seal has reached end of its life and needs resealingReseal existing seal, including repairing of edge break on narrow seal.
Mt Stuart-Bedford Weir Road, (rural road - 121468-22QLD-RTR
Sections of the sealed road are showing signs of advanced deterioration due to aging pavement, traffic volumes and environmental conditions.Insitu stabilisation of identified failures followed by a two coat bitumen seal and linemarking.
Prairie Road (Rural Road) - 121471-22QLD-RTR
In the wet weather the floodway is impassable.Construction of a new concrete floodway approximately 40m long x 6m wide will improve the flood resilience and safer access for motorists.Total cost of proposed project is $80,000
Coddrington Lane (Rural Road) - 121470-22NSW-RTR
Pavment is beyond its servicable life and is showing significant signs of distress and failure with - deep rutting evident for 70% of the Road - cracking in the seal for 25% of the Road; and - shoving along the outside wheel path for 5% of the Road Roadside drainage needs to be re-established to maintain the integrity of the road pavementRehabilitate full width of road pavement - import new pavement material to create cross fall - stabilise the existing pavement by the addition of cementicious product - reseal pavement. Reshape roadside drainage to ensure adequate depth to drain the pavement and drains flow to existing culverts
