Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Blackwood Park Road, Ferntree Gully - 102185-19VIC-RTR
Narrow single-lane bridge on two-lane road has aged and requires re-construction and upgrade for both safety and asset maintenance reasons.Narrow single-lane road bridge is to be demolished and reconstructed to a two-lane bridge.Total cost of proposed project is $690,000
Youngs Crossing Road, Petrie - 101949-19QLD-RTR
The existing pavement is currently showing significant signs of rutting, pavement fails and crackingThe project objective is to renew the pavement and achieve the required level of service to improve safety. On road bicycle lanes are to be installed which will require pavement widening. An improved crossing for pedestrians and cyclists immediately to the north of the causeway crossing is to be included.Total cost of proposed project is $980,000
Pates Road, Wamuran - 101948-19QLD-RTR
The existing pavement is currently showing significant signs of rutting, pavement fails and block cracking.The project scope includes the rehabilitation of the subject section of road over a length of 1560 metres. An 8.0m formation is proposed due to the high number of commercial vehicles associated with the local land use. The project objective is to renew the pavement and achieve the required level of service to improve safety. There is sub-standard road alignment within private property, it is proposed to realign and upgrade the road to within the current road reserveTotal cost of proposed project is $1,464,839
McKean Street, Caboolture - 101820-19QLD-RTR
The existing pavement is currently showing significant signs of pavement fails and the safety risk to pedestrians and cyclists needs to be improvedThe project scope includes the rehabilitation of road over a length of 890m between Beerburrum Road and Payne Street and active transport improvements along the total 1000m length. Transport improvements include line-marking alterations to install bicycle lanes and bicycle awareness markings (BAZ's), improving the existing on-road line marking, removing and/or replacing existing traffic islands, installation of new zebra crossings, pathways and street lighting. Improvements to drainage and kerb and channel, and pathway improvements. The project objective is to renew the pavement and achieve the required level of service, improve user functionality, safety for cyclists and pedestrians, rectify existing road safety deficiencies, remove existing hazards, reduce the potential for crash risk and severity along the section of McKean Street and allow all abilities accessTotal cost of proposed project is $1,963,101
Belalie East Road, (rural road) - 102203-19SA-RTR
Surface of road has worn with clay appearing making road a hazard when wet as it becomes slippery and boggy which is an issue due to being a high use road which is also a school bus route and commodity route.To resurface the road with a quarry rubble mix. It will be applied 8 metres wide and 0.15 metres thick when compacted. This involves purchasing material from a quarry, carting to site with trucks, spreading and levelling with graders and compacting with rollers. Will include replacement of a significant number of drainage pipes where required.Total cost of proposed project is $476,841
Tomkins Road (rural road) - 102043-19NSW-RTR
Narrow formation width of 6m, virtually no gravel remaining in section, no longer a functioning all weather road, but is required to be. Route heavily used by trafficWiden formation to 8m, Rip, reshape existing road and overlay with gravel pavement 0.1 m thick. 1.0km of Gravel resheeting within the zone 1 August 2018 1 September 2018
Indigo Gooramadda Rd, Brown Plain (rural road) - 102029-19VIC-RTR
Road surface has been worn away and by low lying drainage issues. Road surface can get muddy and slippery.Lift the level of the road and rectify the roadside drainage, then re-sheet the surface with new gravel.
Watson Street, Bassendean - 102012-19WA-RTR
the road's sealed surface is close to the end of its physical life, it is in poor condition, resurfacing is required to restore the life of the road surface and avoid water ingress into the underlying road pavement.it is proposed to mill existing road surface and resurface the road with 30mm new asphalt.
King Edward St, Ulverstone - 102168-19TAS-RTR
Missing section of kerb & channel and footpath. Kerb and footpath failure. Drainage issuesConstruction of missing section of kerb & channel and footpath. Rehabilitate failed sections. Improve drainage Length 100m. Seal width 9.5Total cost of proposed project is $240,000
Cluan Crescent, Ulverstone - 102110-19TAS-RTR
Several sections of seal, pavement, kerb and channel failure. Drainage issuesReconstruct and rehabilitate failed sections. Improve drainage to prevent failures re-occurring. Length of failed sections 250m. Width varies, average 2.5m.Total cost of proposed project is $250,000
