Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Gordon Road Paringa (rural road) - 102743-19SA-RTR
This road has a high degree of potholing and cracking along the entire length of the road. The sealed surface is now brittle and will require ongoing maintenance works if reseal is not carried out now .Works to include road side shoulder maintenance ,pre-reseal maintenance ,reseal with PMB binder and single 14mm reseal, line-marking, guide posts and signage upgrades
Albany Terrace, Augusta - 102519-19WA-RTR
Poor seal condition and deformationsCorrector layer of asphalt, flush concrete kerbing and final asphalt overlay
Greenlake Road, Sandringham - 102771-19QLD-RTR
Currently this road is unsealed and does not provide adequate road formation width and safer travel conditions to cater for increasing traffic demand in the area.Upgrading to sealed standard to meet Rural Collector functionality.Total cost of proposed project is $970,000
Hunter Rd, Gundy - 102791-19NSW-RTR
Narrow failed pavement, poor school bus access and safety during wet weather.Shoulder widening and pavement strengthening. Provide 200mm base overlay and undertake roadside drainage improvements (table drain, tail outs) as required. Length of road to be upgraded 21.1-23.1km and 8 metres wide, total seal area 16,000m2.
Sheaffe Street, Cloncurry - 102793-19QLD-RTR
The existing pavement (2 coat seal) has deteriorated and is now insufficient for the current traffic requirements. Continual rehabilitation of underground infrastructure combined with increased traffic volumes are causing defects to continually occur. Existing pavement now needs to be rehabilitated by an upgraded to Asphalt.Removal of existing pavement on Sheaffe Street (between the Gregory Street and Alice Streets intersections) and replace with an Asphalt seal.Total cost of proposed project is $777,786
Hillview Road, Augusta - 102522-19WA-RTR
Poor condition and mixed surface typeAsphalt overlay, profile edge and shouldering
Myella Drive, Glenorchy - 101400-19TAS-RTR
Myella Drive is a local road servicing adjoining properties and residents. The road was built in 1964 and has seal/pavement failure observed.Replace the pavement subbase and base, real the road and to have localised kerb gutter and footpath replacement.Total cost of proposed project is $313,802
Kanya Road, Tottington - 102775-19VIC-RTR
The gravel road travelling surface has worn awayRoad to be resheeted with gravel to restore driveability
McKay Road - Banyena Road Intersection, St Arnaud North - 102786-19VIC-RTR
Shoulders are not wide enough so large vehicles cannot turn safely at the intersection.Widening the shoulders at the intersection to cater for larger vehicles
Dane Road, Stawell - 102751-19VIC-RTR
The existing section of road only has a primer seal.Apply a coat of final seal on top of the primer seal to extend the seal life.
