Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Collie Road (Rural Road) - 096393-17NSW-RTR
The existing bitumen seal is approximately 20 years old and is starting to break up, causing pavement potholes and edge break and drop off. There is also severe longitudinal and lateral cracking happening. Road shoulders need regrading.Correct any surface defects eg: potholes/shoves, maintenance grade the shoulders, import gravel to reshape shoulders where necessary and then bitumen seal to a width of 6m using 14mm aggregate.
Armatree Road (Rural Road) - 096400-17NSW-RTR
This road formed from natural material and in wet conditions the road becomes very slippery and must be driven with due care. In dry weather pavement tends to powder up causing deep potholes, rutting and sand drifts.Chemical Stabilisation Treatment – Rip and shape existing road – Using a road stabilisation machine (Pulvie) and a lime spreader mix the existing material to a depth of 300mm or greater while incorporating the lime. Re-shape and compact finished material to conform with road design.

Belmore Road, Peakhurst - 096407-17NSW-RTR
The asphalt road surface is subsided, cracked and had failed in many places with rutting and pot holes on the road surface indicating subbase failure.To heavy patch areas between 50mm to 150mm in depth to repair the subgrade and subbase failure and overlay with 50mm thick asphalt concrete layer. Approximate area to be rehabilitated is 1,960 square metres with dimensions, 196m long x 10m wide.Total cost of proposed project is $187,181
Lime Kiln Bay Road, Lugarno - 096409-17NSW-RTR
The asphalt road surface is subsided, cracked and had failed in many places with rutting and pot holes on the road surface indicating subbase failureTo heavy patch areas between 50mm to 100mm in depth to repair the subgrade and subbase failure and overlay with 50mm thick asphalt concrete layer. Approximate area to be rehabilitated is 3,216 square metres with dimensions, 160m long x 10.6m wide and 95m long x 16m wide.Total cost of proposed project is $171,708
Boundary Road, Mortdale - 096412-17NSW-RTR
The asphalt road surface is subsided, cracked and had failed in many places with pot holes on the road surface indicating subbase failure.To heavy patch 3000 square meters to a depth of 200mm to repair the subgrade and subbase failure and overlay with 50mm thick asphalt concrete layer. Approximate area to be rehabilitated is 3,660 square meters with dimensions, 270m long x 12m wide and 50m long x 8.4m average width (varying width).Total cost of proposed project is $458,510
