Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Princes Lane, Newport - 096545-17NSW-RTR
Ageing road pavement is distressed with cracks, patches and pot holes.Repair the pavement and resurface with asphaltic concrete.
Garbala Road, Gymea - 096547-17NSW-RTR
The base course of the road pavement has degraded , causing surface layer to pothole and crack severely on traffic lanes. It has exceeded its service life and is need of renewalFull width road pavement rehabilitation over 1,280 sq.m and the work includes 250mm thick cement stabilised base course and 40mm thick asphalt concrete wearing surface on top.
Lara Close, Illawong - 096546-17NSW-RTR
Existing road pavement require replacement. It is significantly potholed and cracked. The roughness of the road is too high and exceeded the allowable valueRoad pavement rehabilitation works for entire road (145m long and a width of 6m). Proposed work includes stabilise the pavement base using cement (200mm thick base layer) and 30mm thick asphalt wearing surface course on top of it.
Butchers Track Road (Rural Road) - 096548-17WA-RTR
The surface is prone to damage following weather events. This section of the road is a very sharp corner and shaping the corner through realignment, reforming and re-sheeting, will provide a safer surface and improve safety for road users.948m realignment, reforming and re-sheeting to 9m running surface replacing the old corner due to sharpness. This corner has experienced several rollovers, very dangerous for road users.
Malcomson Street, Mount Pleasant - 052417-14QLD-RTR
Current lane is too narrow to cater for the high volume of traffic at peak times. Intersection gets too busy at peak times resulting in congestion.The proposed works will involve pavement rehabilitation on Malcomson Street to match future traffic loadings and increased lane capacity by lane widening as well as signalised intersection improvements to provide variable lane assignment (in peak periods the trhough lane will be converted into a second right turning lane) to address improved peak hour capacity as well as increased lane capacity via widening on Greenfields Boulevard. Creation of a variable lane assignment signalised intersection to adjust lane assignment during peak periods to improve intersection capacity. Increased lane capacity in Greenfields Boulevard and Malcomson Street and upgrading lighting standards over the project site.Total cost of proposed project is $6,277,000
Butchers Track Road (Rural Road) - 096549-17WA-RTR
The surface is prone to damage following weather events. In this section of the road, in heavy rains water runs alongside and across the road leaving bad gutters. Realignment, reforming and re-sheeting will provide a safer surface for road users.7km reforming and re-sheeting road, and some gravel sheeting as this section of the road is prone to bad gutters/road channelling in heavy rains.
Westgrove Road (Rural Road) - 096630-17QLD-RTR
The shoulders of the road has deteriorated causing significant edge drop offsIt is proposed to rehabilitate the existing road shoulder to a width of 2.0 metres on each sideTotal cost of proposed project is $507,375
Mary Street, Charters Towers - 096660-17QLD-RTR
There is pavement failure and the seal has deteriorated over the intersection.It is proposed to profile, remove and replace the pavement and seal with a asphalt overlay.
Bromley Road Stage 1 (Rural Road) - 096659-17NSW-RTR
This 2490m length of gravel road is included in Griffith City Council’s Heavy Vehicle Bypass Strategy and is a crucial link in the development of an alternative bypass for heavy vehicle traffic to the south of Griffith. Stage 6a - Bromley Rd is an integral component of a larger project of Griffith City Council's Heavy Vehicle Bypass that will link Stage 5b (Thorne Rd) & 6b (Brown/MR80 Kidman Way) to the north, and will be constructed to a suitable standard to accommodate heavy vehicle trafficConstruct & Seal 2490m of Bromley Road to a suitable standard to accommodate heavy vehicle traffic, as part of the construction of Stage 5b, 6a & 6b construction processTotal cost of proposed project is $7,400,000
Cairnscroft Street, Toogoolawah - 096661-17QLD-RTR
The existing stormwater system is not effective, there is no existing underground drainage or kerb and channel and the road pavement is in poor condition.Install new underground stormwater, install new kerb and channel and extend reconstructed new bitumen pavement to match the new kerb and channel. Total length is 150 meters.
