Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Kingspring Road (rural road) - 096923-17WA-RTR
The existing road is underwidth due to significant large trees being located close to the road edge creating a safety hazard for users of this section of road.Remove identified trees, widen and straighten road to a gravel road standard.
Baldy Top Floodway, Quilpie (Town Street) - 096870-17QLD-RTR
Unsealed floodways are being scoured not repeatedly after rain. Bitumen seal required to prevent scouring to reduce maintenance costs.Bitumen seal floodways.
Mt Margaret Road, Eromanga (Rural Road) - 096864-17QLD-RTR
Safety issue. Road is too narrow to cater for larger vehicles. Bends need widening for passing of vehicles and improved sight line.Proposed to widen bends, seal the widening at the bends, seal the widening at the bends the improve shoulders width where required to improve safety.
Old Charleville Road, Quilpie (Rural Road) - 096838-17QLD-RTR
Gravel road wearing due to usual traffice and heavy vehicles. Causes dust problems in the dry and slippery and boggy when wet.Road resheeted, heavy grade or light grade where required. Different locations from 4.3K to 5K, 6.7K to 7.3K and 7.6K to 8.8K making a total of 3.5km.
Dump Road, Quilpie (Town Street) - 096873-17QLD-RTR
Existing road is too narrow and was poor horisontal alignment creating safety issues. Realigned widened road will be safer.It is proposed to widen and seal from 4m width to 6m width and 8m width on bends reconstruct shoulders, seal shoulders and reseal complete.
Albemarle Lane Rose Bay - 052468-14NSW-RTR
Roadway is 45% blocked cracked.Replace old road surface with new surface for entire length. Length 93m X width 4m.Total cost of proposed project is $32,960
Galah Street, Quilpie - 096837-17QLD-RTR
Existing bitumen seal is old and worn. Reseal required to prevent patholes and to reduce maintenance costs.Maintenance Reseal
Fall Street, Exmouth - 096924-17WA-RTR
The bitumen seal is failing due to binder hardening, cracking and stone loss due to the bitumen age and stresses imposed by vehicles. the bitumen is at the end of it's service life.Reseal with bitumen and aggregate
