Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Moona Plains Road (Rural Road) - 096982-17NSW-RTR
In order to achieve local road safety targets and maintain Councils asset management strategy, Council is conducting essential heavy patching to allow for the proposed segments on Moona Plains Road to be resealed in the 2018-19 Reseal Program.In order to achieve local road safety targets and maintain Councils asset management strategy, Council has inspected and identified areas of soft or failed pavement that require attention prior to resealing. This particular area requires a full rehabilitation in order to allow the entire segment to be resealed next financial year. The works includes a full depth (200mm) subgrade stabilisation and primer seal over the rehabilitated area.

Barunga Access Road - Barunga - 097023-17NT-RTR
Replacement of box culvert which had deteriorated beyond repair in floods of 2017 wet season. Replacement provides flood protection for a 10 year storm event and allows residents to access funerary grounds.Works encompass the replacement of box culvert as per the below specification, and 50 mtrs re-sealling of the road (for a length 25m in each direction of the culvert) beginning at approximately 200 mtrs North East of the intersection with Derkalo and Bagala Road. The works include the installation of 4 cells, 1200mm x 1200mm RCBCs and scope of works as follows: - Excavate for placing culvert, clearing and grubbing. - Drainage works (4 cell, 1200mm x 1200mm RCBC) including head walls; - Stone pitching; - Preparation for road pavement and foot path pavement this including filling with FCR for 300mm thickness; - Sealing the road and part of the pavement with two coat seals using 14mm/10mm aggregate - Construction of Kerbs; - Road furniture (road signs and guide posts); - Pavement marking.

Treeleaf Lane, Melton South - 052481-14VIC-RTR
Treeleaf Lane currently forms the access to the Melton Recycling Facility and, in addition, will also become an access to a future employment area that will form part of the Toolern Precinct Structure Plan. The existing pavement is inadequate to meet current and future traffic requirements, is experiencing significant cracking and potholing and needs to be rebuilt.Propose rebuilding 730 metres of existing road to give increased pavement depth and width in order to facilitate additional projected traffic flows and minimise future damage to the road pavement. The works also inlcude the relocation of Telstra infrastructure.
