Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

McLarty Road, Halls Head - 096352-17WA-RTR
Road surface has reached end of structural integrity and also safety of motorists and pedestrians.Road rehabilitation of McLarty Road from just south of intersection with Oaklands Avenue to just north of intersection with Admiralty Crescent. Works include road widening, resurfacing, installation of median islands, cycle lanes and footpath.Total cost of proposed project is $358,132
Adams Road (Rural Road) Kukerin South - 096345-17WA-RTR
Heavy seasonal traffic causing severe deterioration of gravel surface making it dangerous for road traffic.Reform, widen, upgrade drainage and resheet gravel to 150mm to 16.00km . Waterbind and first bitumen seal with 14mm aggregate from 11.70 - 14.00.
Holden East Road (Rural Road) Tarin Rock - 096349-17WA-RTR
Seasonal traffic causes blow outs (Big holes) due to lack of gravel.Clear, reform, widen, upgrade drainage and resheet with 150mm of gravel.
Eckersley Road - 052404-14WA-RTR
Old pavement cracked and subsiding, overgrown vegetation affecting sightlinesClear vegetation, reconstruct cracked subsiding pavement to seven metres with one metre wide shouldersTotal cost of proposed project is $240,000
Coronation Avenue, Mosman - 096320-17NSW-RTR
Concrete pavement failure, cracking and settlement. Loss of AC wearing surface on shoulders.Replace asphalt and concrete roadwayTotal cost of proposed project is $61,386
Multiple Locations - Laughing Waters Road, Eltham (Reconstruction, rehabilitation, widening)
Road widening along narrow rural unsealed roads to allow for passing opportunities for CFA trucks and oncoming vehicles. This is to improve traffic safety and improve response times for fire vehicles should there be a fire event. The current road is too narrow and sparse driveway crossings to provide ample passing opportunities for vehicles and in particular fire trucks.Widen the road by cutting into the adjacent embankment and creating a passing bay. Road would be widened and the crushed rock road pavement and base extended into the passing bays.
Parker Road, Silvan - 096358-17VIC-RTR
Parker Road has been identified as a Vic Roads Black Spot location due to the width of the road and traffic volume.The gravel shoulders are to be constructed to allow sufficient width and improve the safety of vehicles using Parker Road.Total cost of proposed project is $608,305
Victoria Road, Wandin North - 096359-17VIC-RTR
The existing sealed road has deteriorated significantly, with rutting, cracking and potholes evident. Rehabilitation of the road surface is necessary. The roadway is a local collector road and carries significant traffic volumes for the area. Upgrading of the road will improve local amenity and safety of access for road users.Rehabilitation of the existing sealed road pavement for a length of 2400 metres from Warburton Highway and Sebire Avenue.Total cost of proposed project is $819,597
Sebire Avenue, Wandin North - 096360-17VIC-RTR
The existing sealed road has deteriorated significantly, with rutting, cracking and potholes evident. Rehabilitation of the road surface is necessary. The roadway is a local collector road and carries significant traffic volumes for the area. Upgrading of the road will improve local amenity and safety of access for road users.Rehabilitation of the existing sealed road pavement for a length of 1750 metres from Warburton Highway and Victoria Road.Total cost of proposed project is $682,414
Hollonds Road, Benambra, Victoria - 096363-17VIC-RTR
Bridge Failing - The top deck, piers, crossdeck and all structural timber members are in a dilapidated condition - Load limited to 20 tonne - Currently the bridge will withstand a small truck/vehicle - Unable to withstand the threat of bushfireDemolish existing load limited timber bridge 1.26km east of Limestone Road, Benambra Construct alternative route for vehicles to ensure equity of access and continued links Replace timber bridge with reinforced concrete bridge with steel piles and beams, precast concrete deck (21.4m long x 4.4m wide) Bringing the asset to a higher level to achieve load limit minimum SM1600 (Loading Code for Bridges)Total cost of proposed project is $376,809
