Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Ingoldsby Road, Ingoldsby - 096663-17QLD-RTR
Current pavement condition has reached its useful life, is narrow and has considerable vertical movement. Pavement requires widening and reconstruction in order to improve asset condition and life.Pavement reconstruction including widening and sealTotal cost of proposed project is $476,021

Quandialla Road (Rural Road) - 096668-17NSW-RTR
Extensive pavement cracking.Crack seal pavement before it fails due to water penetration through the cracks in to the base.
Bygoo Road (Rural Road) - 096669-17NSW-RTR
1) Bolero Hill Section (166m) A section of road lying between two small hills fails frequently due to inadequate drainage underneath the pavement layers. 2) Other Sections (6,904m) These sections have got extensive pavement failures including shoves, heaves and edge drop offs. The current seal is only 6.3m and is considered unsafe for Type1 A Doubles, B-Doubles and modular B-Triples to pass other vehicles leading to edge failures.1) Bolero Hill - Reconstruction includes removal of pavement and fill material up to the bedrock, providing adequate drainage with socked slotted pipes and flappers at the ends, laying geotextile, adding gravel, compacting, trimming and application of 10mm primer seal with a 5mm scatter coat. 2) Other sections - Adding gravel and stabilising the pavement with a suitable binder, cleaning the drains, adding gravel on the shoulders, compacting and application of 10mm primer seal with a 5mm scatter coat.
Dundas Road (Rural Road) - 096666-17NSW-RTR
Extensive edge drop and edge break failure. As Type 1 A-Double, B-Doubles and modular B-Triples pass each other on the narrow sections, it puts an enormous strain on the edges and leads to edge failure.Grade shoulders to bring back the material to restore the edge failures.

The current condition of the existing seal (last treatment in 2009) is very poor.Pavement rehabilitation, asphalt regulation, edge repairs and crack sealing to be undertaken as preparation works prior to commencement of sealing work and reinstatement of linemarking.
