Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;

Pompuraaw Road (Kowanyama - Mitchell River), (Rural Road) - 096747-17QLD-RTR
Loss of formation and pavement material has caused access and ongoing maintenance issues. Some sections of roadway are below the level of natural ground and rainfall runoff is travelling longitudinally with it accelerating erosion and deterioration of the asset. Formation and pavement in sections need to be reinstatedReinstatement of table drains, road formation and gravel re-sheeting along various sections. Work activities will include bulk fill to formations and import of gravel for reconstruction/re-sheeting of pavement layer.
Barton Highway Upgrade Package
The Australian and NSW governments have together committed $242.9 million towards the upgrade of the Barton Highway, with $178.6 million provided by the Australian Government and $64.3 million by the NSW Government. This funding is being utilised across two projects along the corridor: Barton Highway Upgrade Package Stage 1 and Barton Highway Upgrade Package Stage 2. The scope of this project was informed by the Barton Highway Improvement Strategy and the Barton Highway duplication business case. This project, Stage 1, delivered upgrades and duplication along the Barton Highway from Victoria Street, ACT up to Kaveneys Road, NSW. This project included a temporary tie-in section between the NSW and ACT border, with a permanent solution to be delivered in Stage 2.
Eurobodalla Roads Upgrade Package
The Eurobodalla Roads Package included the following projects: Princes Highway and Hector McWilliam Drive intersection improvements - construction of a dedicated left-turn lane from the Highway onto Hector McWilliam Drive, installation of a concrete median on Hector McWilliam Drive and other minor safety improvements Bolong Road preservation project - widening and sealing of shoulders (for approximately 2km) and other minor works at Bolong Road Upgrade George Bass Drive/Tomakin Road intersection - construction of a roundabout at the George Bass Drive/Tomakin Road intersection, modification of Ainslie Parade and George Bass Drive intersection, and other minor works in the immediate vicinity Upgrade intersections on Beach Road between Perry and Vesper Streets – upgrade three intersections: the Princes Highway/Beach Road intersection, the Beach Road/Perry Street intersection, and the Beach Road/Orient Street intersection. The project includes other minor works between the Princes Highway and Orient Street Drainage and pavement requirements identified in the design phase and utility relocation costs.  
Jewry Street Bridge
The design and construction of the new bridge over the Peel River and the associated bridge approach road works, which involved a new two-lane carriageway extending from Jewry Street to the intersection of Peel Street and Jewry Street, Tamworth.
