Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Longitudinal cracks in isolated sections, previous patches and repairs showing failure. Crocodile cracking evident along with wheel ruttingPlane and reinstate section with DG10 A15E asphalt. Additional funding source: Council fundsTotal cost of proposed project is $120,000
Centenary Road, Merrylands - 131498-24NSW-RTR
Damaged road pavement along the travel lanes, potholes, surface cracking and localised water ponding.Removal of existing asphalt surface along the travel lane (Bus Lanes maintained by TfNSW, reconstruction of failed pavement sections, provide new asphalt surface and kerb & gutter replacement where required. Council is funding the balance.Total cost of proposed project is $1,312,020
Morell Street, Hughenden - 131369-24QLD-RTR
Construction of a new road in the Stage 2 of the Industrial Estate.Construction of a new road and two coat bitumen seal of approximately 750 m x 8 m wide.
Monash Ave, Nedlands - 131480-24WA-RTR
Existing surface is in poor condition.Renewal of asphalt surface to improve longevity of pavement. The project has an existing grant: - Local Roads and Community Infrastructure (LRCI) $221,420 - City will fund the remaining amount.Total cost of proposed project is $801,395
Greens Beach Road, Kelso - 131499-24TAS-RTR
Road users safety through pavement reconstruction, road widening, line marking and guideposts installation.Drainage upgrade, pavement reconstruction, road widening, sealed shoulder, line marking, guideposts installation and associated civil works. $250,000 of funding provided by the SRRP program, with the balance of funding to be provided by the West Tamar Council.Total cost of proposed project is $660,000
Sparkle Avenue, Blacktown - 053685-14NSW-RTR
The existing road pavement is heavily oxidised with extensive crocodile cracking and deformation throughout the pavement.   Deep areas of rutting along the kerb line has previously occurred, with the pavement being temporarily repaired and made safe.  Failures continue to progress along the kerb and gutter area, accelerating water ingress into the pavement. Overturning of the kerb and gutter in the same location is occurring increasing the risk of trip hazards and pavement deformation.Reconstruction of the road pavement including the provision of an asphalt wearing course. Project also includes some kerb and gutter repairs.
Kentucky Road, Neville - 131511-24NSW-RTR
Loss of gravel causing rutting and roughness and poor drainage.Re-sheet of nominally 100 mm of locally-quarried crushed gravel totalling 844 tonnes, re-grading of road, re-cutting of mitre drains to suit.
Garland Road, Lyndhurst - 131509-24NSW-RTR
Undermined culvert due to insufficient scour protection, leading to collapse of the shoulder of the road. Existing culvert heavily displaced, leading to voids forming in the road.Replacement of the existing culvert with a 450 mm RRJ RCP, construction of headwalls.
Tallwood Road, Forest Reefs - 131507-24NSW-RTR
Resealing of winter-applied primerseal before defects occur.Reseal with scatter coat to ensure no opportunity for flushing can arise, and reapplication of linemarking.
Matthews Road, Tallwood - 131505-24NSW-RTR
Undersized culvert suffering from severe blockage due to siltation and separation of pipes, causing potholes to form in the road. The unsealed road is heavily used by local farmers to move machinery and stock.Replacement of existing culvert with 900 mm RRJ RCP culvert structure, installation of headwalls, and placement of rock armouring for scour protection.
