Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Grant St, Bencubbin - 131537-24WA-RTR
Loss of stone from sealed pavement.Reseal with 14 mm aggregate.
Civic Drive, Greensborough - 131682-24VIC-RTR
Sealed pavement rehabilitation required as identified by Councils Pavement Management System. The existing sealed surface is approaching the end of its life.Profile existing sealed surface where required, apply new crumb rubber asphalt wearing course over full width of existing pavement, then reinstate pavement marking and signage.
Ingrams Road, Research - 131683-24VIC-RTR
Sealed pavement rehabilitation required as identified by Councils Pavement Management System. The existing sealed surface is approaching the end of its life.Profile existing sealed surface where required, apply spray seal wearing course over full width of existing pavement, then re-instate pavement marking and signage.
Landor Meekatharra Rd (rural road) - 131705-24WA-RTR
The subgrade has worn to the point that the road has lost its formation and has exposed rocks and natural ground. This presents a safety issue to drivers and the road has become quite rough to drive on.Re-sheet the sections with good quality gravel to 200 mm, water bind and reform road to nine metre running surface.
Wandering-Pingelly Rd (Rural Road) - 130316-24WA-RTR
Groundwater is running under the road. The surface has sunk and is now breaking away.Box out 200 metres of the whole road surface, cement stabilization and add lime and new gravel and seal road. Dig deeper drainage on each side of the road.
Cessnock Bypass – Northern Alternative Route Planning
The project will support planning to alleviate congestion with traffic along Wollombi Road and will identify an alternative safe route to connect new housing developments at Bellbird and Nulkaba to the Hunter Expressway.
Gap Road, Alice Springs - 131708-24NT-RTR
Crashes and severity of road accidents, poor visibility, proper drainage and poor pedestrian traffic The recent crash data dated from 17th September 2018 to 11th September 2023 highlighted 41 crashes altogether along the 2.3km Gap Road where the number of crashes and severity for each year.Installing roundabouts in intersection of Gap road and Trager Avenue. Line marking, school zone traffic calming and pedestrian islands. Installing chicanes, traffic calming devices and additional street lights in pedestrian crossing points and high foot traffic areas.
Minna Road (Rural Road) - 053715-14TAS-RTR
The road is too narrow, has an uneven surface, and pavement failure from poor drainage.The road is to be widened to have 3.1m wide sealed lanes. This includes widening the pavement, upgrading drainage and road shoulders, and replacing the seal.Total cost of proposed project is $120,000
Nicker Cresent, Alice Springs - 131707-24NT-RTR
Improved Road visibility during rains and road deterioration and erosion caused by old and inadequate culverts and side entry pits.Replace old culverts by supplying & installing new culverts and side entry pits to avoid stormwater pooling and road erosion.
