Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Cambridge Parade, Manly - 132016-25QLD-RTR
Cambridge Parade experiences high speeds on the approach to the intersection resulting in reduced ability for vehicles from Melville Terrace and Arnold Streets to safety turn out. The existing sight distances from the side streets are compromised. The works include a new threshold treatment west of intersection including a “40” pavement marking. The 40km/h speed zone will be extended beyond the intersection. The intersection geometry and kerb lines will be amended to slow turning vehicles into Melville Terrace and installation of a new pedestrian refuge on Melville Terrace. Source of additional funding is Brisbane City Council.
Koorda-Dowerin Road (Rural Road) - 132017-25WA-RTR
Block cracking and potholes.Asphalt intersection.Total cost of proposed project is $45,603
Koorda-Kulja Road (Rural Road) - 132018-25WA-RTR
Existing seal is too narrow for heavy haulage and severe block cracking and potholing. Other source funding for project State Main Road Direct Grant Allocation.Full reconstruction to address block cracking and potholing in various section. Widen seal from 3.6 m to 8.0 m.Total cost of proposed project is $390,000
Cape Portland Road, Rushy Lagoon - 132048-25TAS-RTR
The current gravel surface has degraded due to weather and traffic movements requiring a new gravel surface to extend pavement life and improve public safety. Apply a layer of surface gravel 5 m wide and 100 mm deep to restore running surface.
Old Waterhouse Road, Waterhouse - 132049-25TAS-RTR
The current gravel surface has degraded due to weather and traffic movements requiring a new gravel surface to extend pavement life and improve public safety. Apply a layer of surface gravel 5.5 m wide and 100 mm deep to restore running surface.
Bridport Back Road, Nabowla - 132050-25TAS-RTR
The current gravel surface has degraded due to weather and traffic movements requiring a new gravel surface to extend pavement life and improve public safety. Apply a layer of surface gravel 5.0 m wide and 100 mm deep to restore running surface.
Ferny Hill Road, Bridport - 132051-25TAS-RTR
The current gravel surface has degraded due to weather and traffic movements requiring a new gravel surface to extend pavement life and improve public safety. Apply a layer of surface gravel 5.5 m wide and 100 mm deep to restore running surface.
Merrinee South Road, Merrinee - 132067-25VIC-RTR
Gravel Road has reached end of useful life and is breaking up. Gravel Resheet in accordance with Asset Maintenance Strategy.
Bayswater Road (Townsville) - 053718-14QLD-RTR
Traffic congestion at the Bayswater Raod and Pilkington Street roundabout, due to 2-lanes merging into 1 (on the Bayswater road side).Extending the 2-lanes at Bayswater road through the roundabout to allow flow of traffic and reduce congestion at this location.
Dyson Drive, Alfredton - 132068-25VIC-RTR
Urban collector road lost shape and pot holing badly in large developing residential area. The road will be reconstructed, strengthen pavement, improve drainage and associated works. The City of Ballarat 2025/26 Infrastructure Capital Budget has allocated the remaining funds for the project.
