Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Chinner Road, Lake Bennett - 057605-15NT-RTR
Area of bitumen seal and pavement have failed.Removal of 10,000 square metres of bitumen seal and substandard gravel pavement, incorporation of cement into existing pavement, provision of additional gravel, shape and compact. Lay initial slurry bitumen seal and lay final bitumen seal and 14 millimetre aggregate.Total cost of proposed project is $564,886
Floriedale Road, Greenacres - 057610-15SA-RTR
Severe undulation of pavement due to environmental soil movement. Longitudinal cracks are also observed. Kerb and Gutter damage due to tree roots. Water ponding in low spots.Full removal and replacement of existing kerb and gutter to new road alignments. Full removal of existing asphalt by profiling and replacement of new pavement of 100mm thick.
Dover Road, Wamberal - 057611-15NSW-RTR
Road is too narrow for the current traffic volumes. There is no formal footway and parking is haphazard. That has generated numerous public complaints about safety issues. This is the final stage of upgrading for Dover Road.Widen the pavement area to 8 metres wide over 130 metres length.Provide footpath & kerb & gutter on the northern side. Construct parking pads on the southern side. Stormwater drainage. Re-grade intersection at Rysdyk Parade and several property accesses. Retaining walling where applicable.Total cost of proposed project is $700,000
Bodia Outstation Access Road - Milingimbi - 057612-15NT-RTR
Access road weathered and worn beyond its practical service life.Reform and resheetTotal cost of proposed project is $264,901
Allen Road, York - 057613-15WA-RTR
Clay areas and minimal gravel on the pavement area. This road is a School Bus Route.Resheet with gravel at 100 milimeters in thickness and form up pavement area to improve drainage.
Adams Street, St Albans - 057614-15VIC-RTR
The existing road pavement is ageing and exhibits oxidation and areas of significant longitudinal and crocodile cracking, loss of aggregate and patching. There is also significant roughness.The project includes the following major aspects: • Rehabilitation of 514 metres of existing road pavement and resurfacing with asphalt • Reconstruction of 1053 metres of existing kerb and channel • Reconstruction of existing vehicle crossings where required • Construction of 187 metres of underground drainage works • Reconstruction of all footpath • Construction of 6 raingardensTotal cost of proposed project is $699,407
Cranbourne Avenue, Sunshine North - 057615-15VIC-RTR
The existing road pavement exhibits oxidation and areas of significant longitudinal and crocodile cracking, loss of aggregate and patching. There is also significant roughness.The project includes the following major aspects: • Reconstruction of 297 metres of existing road pavement and resurfacing of a further 19 metres • Reconstruction of 601 metres of existing kerb and channel • Reconstruction of existing vehicle crossings where required • Reconstruction of all damaged footpath • Construction of 498 metres of underground drainage worksTotal cost of proposed project is $540,854
Forrest Street, Ardeer - 057616-15VIC-RTR
The existing road pavement exhibits areas of significant longitudinal and transverse cracking, isolated areas of failed pavement and patching. There is moderate roughness and loss of shape. In addition significant lengths of concrete kerbing are in a poor condition.The project includes the following major aspects: • Rehabilitation of 455 metres of existing road pavement and resurfacing with asphalt • Reconstruction of 826 metres of existing kerb and channel • Construction of traffic islands at the intersection of North Street/Forrest Street and Tower Street/Forrest Street • Reconstruction of existing vehicle crossings where required • Reconstruction of all damaged footpath • Construction of 205 metres of underground drainage worksTotal cost of proposed project is $503,314
