Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

Yoongarillup Road (Rural Road) - 101983-19WA-RTR
This section of the rural road was widened in the 2019 financial year and now the intersection with the Vasse Highway needs a to widened to tie-in with the road.Widened the intersection to tie-in with the widened road.
Lakeside Drive, Alawa - 101815-19NT-RTR
The Lakeside Reconstruction project Stage 2 represents the completion of the balance of the Lakeside Drive reconstruction project, Stage 1 of which was completed with funding from the previous round of R2R funding. Geotechnical investigations have confirmed the poor condition of the road pavement. Lakseside Drive is a Primary Collector road and is an important route to the DSarwin Hospitals. It has a relatively high traffic volume (6.440 vehicles/day), there have been 14 recorded crashes along Lakeside Drive (including its intersections) since 2014.Demolition of existing road pavement - road surface, subbase and base course - which has reached the end of its useful life. Replacement with new pavement - base course, subbase and asphalt. Improvement to the safety and function of pedestrian refuge islands and pram ramps which fall within the area of the pavement works.Total cost of proposed project is $2,528,897
Kielpa Gum Flat Road (Rural Road) - 101988-19SA-RTR
The existing gravel surface has deteriorated over a number of years exposing the sub base and clay areas which become a hazard when wetThe road will be reconstructed ,reshaped and 150 millimetres crushed road base material added
Syverstens Road (Rural Road) - 101990-19SA-RTR

Sextonville Road, CASINO NSW 2470, - 101971-19NSW-RTR
Pavement has failed due to heavy vehicle usage/age/poor crossfalls. Some road side drainage issues contributing to the pavement failure alsoOverlay existing road with 100-150mm of a high quality DGB20 with the addition of a stabilising agent and a full reseal over the worksTotal cost of proposed project is $333,675
Oura Road (Rural Road) - 101996-19NSW-RTR
Existing road is narrow with poor vertical and horiziontal alignment. Correction of an uneven profile.Rip existing, widening of pavement, add gravel sub-base and stabilise. Seal with a 14-7 two coat.
Barnard Street Beechworth (rural road) - 101984-19VIC-RTR
Existing gravel road in poor condition with surface failing. Drainage issues down both sides of the road.Grading and trimming of existing surface. New 150mm depth road base and asphalt surface and drainage.
Alma Road, Beechworth (rural road) - 101985-19VIC-RTR
The bend in the road is steep, unsealed and a narrow culvert crossing over a creek causing safety concerns. There have been several incidents in the past few years.Increase the length of the culverts including head walls under Alma Road, allowing the road width to be increased from 4 meters to 6 meters and sealing through the bend for an approximate length of 250 meters.
Konnongorring West Road (rural road) - 102002-19WA-RTR
Currently a 5 metre bitumen width road and is too narrow to cater for heavy vehicles resulting in vehicular conflicts.It is proposed to Prune vegetation and reconstruct shoulders and drainage. Overlay existing pavement and seal to 8 metres.
Mia Mia Road, Browns Plan (rural road) - 101987-19VIC-RTR
A high volume of tourism vehicle traffic on a narrow section of Mia Mia Road causing safety issues when passing and a slippery section of gravel leading into the intersection of Goormadda Road.Widen and seal 1.5km section of Mia Mia Road from the intersection of with Murray Valley Hwy back towards Gooramadda Rd. Seal 200 meter of Mia Mia Road leading into the intersection with Gooramadda Road.
