Brown Street, Broken Hill, NSW 2880 - 106111-19NSW-RTR
The unsealed road has corrugations and loose stones and has been subject to various weathering elements. The drainage is a major issue as the water is currently draining into the residential properties due to the fence line of the undeveloped area on the other side of the road higher than the road. Currently, this unsealed section is the only part that does not comply with the requirements specified in National Class 2 Heavy Vehicle Road Train Authorisation (Notice) 2015 and Higher Mass Limits (HML) that will enable this route to be an alternate heavy vehicle route that diverts through higher residential populated area.Upgrade the unsealed road to bitumen spray sealed road with adequate drainage design to divert stormwater away from the residential properties. This will also seal the length of Brown Street available for road train access and become alternate route for heavy vehicle.Total cost of proposed project is $543,577
