Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Back Kootingal Road, Nemingha - 100754-18NSW-RTR
Aging seal is allowing pavement to deteriorate.Some localised pavement stabilisation with lime to address various minor pavement failures, followed by full width bitumen reseal.
Loomberah Road, Loomberah - 100753-18NSW-RTR
Pavement failure and rutting over time has created a poor ride quality and unsafe conditions during wet weatherExcavate existing pavement and stabilise subsurface to existing alignment. Overlay with road base and widen to establish 8m wide seal.
Woodsreef Road, Woodsreef - 100755-18NSW-RTR
Ageing seal is allowing pavement to deteriorate, and shorten the life of the road asset.Spray bitumen reseal to full width of existing road to renew and waterproof the existing pavement, along two sections totalling 5.3km.
East Clare Road (Rural Road) - 100757-18NSW-RTR
Sealed road surface reaching end of life. Reseal road to maintain wearing surface and prevent water ingress and damage to pavement.Reseal the road using a bituminous spray seal and 10mm aggregate spread at a length of 1.79 km.
Wooranbarra - Corrong Road (RuralRoad) - 100758-18NSW-RTR
Culverts have reached the end of life and are unserviceable.Replacement of two sets of twin cell 600mm diameter RRJ class 4 culverts 10 m long, and reinstate natural surface formed road including provision of traffic control and side track, at ch 10.4km and 11.8km. Clear silt from a 4 cell 900mm diameter culvert structure at ch 13.3km.Total cost of proposed project is $55,000
Honeypot Road, Noarlunga downs - 100766-18SA-RTR
The road surface has deteriorated in places with some areas suffering from pavement failuresReseal the length of road with an asphalt overlay where a surface treatment is required and undertake deep lift asphalt replacement in the areas where pavement failures have occurred.
Nandi Road, Canyonleigh - 100759-18NSW-RTR
The existing gravel sheeting on the road has worn away and needs to be reinstated.Overlay the current road formation with 150mm of suitably graded road base gravel.Total cost of proposed project is $315,715
Springmount Road (rural Road) - 100767-18QLD-RTR
The existing 3.5m wide bitumen seal is too narrow for the number of school busses, commercial and passenger vehicles now using this section of Springmount Road. Vehicles are unable to pass without utilising the unsealed road verge or the table drain which creates an unsafe environment for the road users. The existing road pavement is also substandard and is showing signs of detoriation from heavy use by commercial vehicles.The proposed works include the widening of the existing 3.5m wide bitumen road to 6.5m to allow the safe passing of commercial and passenger vehicles and the reconstruction of the road pavement to improve it's load bearing capacity. Works include one major concrete culvert widening and several culvert replacements.Total cost of proposed project is $981,834

Existing aged seal is cracked and potholed.Crumbed Rubber reseal.
Baynes Street, Wondai (Rural Road) - 100761-18QLD-RTR
Existing aged seal is cracked and potholed.Crumbed Rubber reseal.Total cost of proposed project is $82,000
