Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

There are moderate failures in both the surface and pavement structure.A combined treatment of heavy asphalt patching followed by an asphalt overlay for part of the road and deeplift asphalt reconstruction for the remaining part of the road.Total cost of proposed project is $592,052
Endeavour Road, Beerburrum - 102705-19QLD-RTR
The proposed section has the following defects: large tree roots from adjacent pine plantation have severely damaged the pavement and lifted the seal creating a hazard for vehiclesRemove problem tree roots and add granular overlay to strengthen pavement and increase cover to tree roots. Normanton - Burketown Road (Rural Road) - 102566-19QLD-RTR
Gravel road wearing due to increase of traffic and heavy vehicles. Causes dust problems in the dry and slippery, boggy when wet.It is proposed to reshape and stabilise existing gravel formation, and seal to 7m width.Total cost of proposed project is $1,820,000
Eurobodalla Road, Bodalla - 102718-19NSW-RTR
Existing road alignment is poor, narrow, and in poor condition. The road is regularly used by heavy vehicles and, in the absence of a road shoulder or pathway, has increased risks for pedestriansRoad widening, improving road alignment, pavement and draining improvements, which include kerb and gutter to improve road safety.Total cost of proposed project is $896,291

Surface material erosion and drainage problems with clay exposed leading to a rough surface which is slippery when wet.Rip and reform, cart and spread crushed rubble materials to reform the road surface and increase traffic safety during wet and dry conditions.

Surface material erosion and drainage problems with clay exposed leading to slippery surfaces when wet and exposed rock and rough surface in major creek crossing.Rip and reform, cart crushed rubble materials to reform the road surface and increase traffic safety during wet and dry conditions.
