Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Milo Road (rural road) - 108293-20WA-RTR
Poor road formation, worn road surface and poor roadside drainage.Form up, gravel sheeting, renewal of existing drainage and construction of new drainage (including culverts).Total cost of proposed project is $258,000
Numinbah Road, Numinbah - 107665-20NSW-RTR
The existing sealed road & intersection is too narrow and requires widening in order to reduce vehicles crossing the road centre line.The existing sealed road is to be widened using a granular pavement and a new sealed surface is to be placed. A retaining wall will also be constructed to facilitate the widening.Total cost of proposed project is $1,397,937
Tweed Valley Way, Tumbulgum - 108308-20NSW-RTR
The existing sealed road is in poor condition with numerous surface defects and pavement failures. The road is very rough and provides poor ride quality to road users.Rehabilitation of the pavement through deep lift asphalt placement with a new sealed finish.
Meredith-Shelford Road (Rural Road) - 108276-20VIC-RTR
Existing narrow sealed road carrying increased traffic and being utilised by heavy vehicles accessing the Golden Plains Food Production Precinct. Road pavement exhibiting edge deterioration, pot holes and pavement failure along the entre identified length for upgrade.200mm thick granular pavement re-sheet, widen and seal to 6.2m wide in accordance with Council's Road Strategy.
Stan Cannon Road (Rural Road) - 108304-20WA-RTR
Narrow seal creates edge breaks from traffic which is damaging vehicles and reducing the width of the seal as it breaks away.To seal widen to seven metres and reseal over existing sealTotal cost of proposed project is $214,306
Warriedar Coppermine (rural Road) - 108302-20WA-RTR
Large potholes causing damage to road user vehicles and section becomes extremely slippery when wet.Proposal to gravel sheet road and shape to allow for water to run off
Taylors Road (rural Road) - 108303-20WA-RTR
Inadequate shape and minimal gravel means road becomes corrugated when dry and slippery when wetGravel sheet road, reshaping surface to allow for water runoff and provide a wearing course for traffic.
Lochada Road (Rural Road) - 108305-20WA-RTR
Road surface becomes slippery when wet and extremely corrugated when drygravel sheeting of road and reshaping
