Homewood Street, CLOVERDALE - 111180-20WA-RTR
A gravity sewer main installed down the street 15 years ago, central to the East bound lane only, has lead to different asphalt wearing courses that have resulted in uneven wear and poor cracking resistance requiring an asphalt overlay. Age of existing kerbing down both sides of the road has resulted in cracking and displacement of segments requiring replacement. Additional drainage crossing required to reduce the flow path width of storm water that could increase the risk of aquaplaning along the road.Length, width and area of job: 287m x 7.4m = 2,208m2. Existing asphalt surface to be profiled off over both lanes for the full length of the road, all road kerbing is to be replaced and additional drainage road crossing installed to remove over land flow. Road is then to have a new full length asphalt wearing course applied to it.Total cost of proposed project is $165,679
Dudley Street, RIVERVALE - 111174-20WA-RTR
Road is part of a small subdivision of three streets and is showing excessive asphalt cracking due to the age of the wearing course. To prevent future costly damage to the base course material by the ingress of stormwater a new overlay is proposed.Length, width and area of job: 200m x 7.2m = 1,460m2. Existing asphalt surface is to be profiled off over full length of the road, minor kerb damaged to repaired and minor crossover faults to be corrected. Road is then to have a new full length asphalt wearing course applied to it.
Gibbs St, RIVERVALE - 111153-20WA-RTR
Road is part of a small subdivision of three streets and is showing excessive asphalt cracking due to the age of the wearing course. To prevent future costly damage to the base course material by the ingress of stormwater a new overlay is proposed.Length, width and area of job: 189m x 7.2m = 1,434m2. Existing asphalt surface is to be profiled off over full length of the road, minor kerb damaged to repaired and minor crossover faults to be corrected. Road is then to have a new full length asphalt wearing course applied to it.
Baldwin Street, KEWDALE - 111151-20WA-RTR
The location is in an industrial estate and is subject to heavy loads and turning stresses from over sized and length vehicles using the road to access BP Service Station for refuelling and servicing. This has created excessive wear on the asphalt surface with the loss of stone from the binder warranting replacement before base course is affected.Length, width and area of job: 404m x 9m = 3,633m2. Existing asphalt surface is to be profiled off over full length of the road, minor kerb damaged to repaired and then site to have an overlay full length of the job with a new asphalt wearing course.
Donohue Highway, Rural Road - 111179-20QLD-RTR
Bitumen seal is cracking and starting to fail. Reseal will stabilise the surface and give a new life of approximately 7 years.Reseal of section 2.1 kms x 6 metres section of road
Donohue Highway, Rural Road - 111181-20QLD-RTR
Bitumen seal is cracking and starting to fail. Reseal will stabilise the surface and give a new life of approximately of 7 years.Reseal section 10.5 kms x 6 metres section of road
Breelong Balladoran Road (rural road) - 111124-20NSW-RTR
Single span timber bridge which has been deemed unsafe and due for replacement.Contribution for funding to demolish existing structure and replace with a concrete 2 lane 4 span structure, re-establish and bitumen seal approaches.Total cost of proposed project is $2,291,389
Archibald Street, Muchea - 111172-20WA-RTR
A new sub division had been constructed on the west side of Muchea which in turn has increased traffic volumes. Current seal width is narrow for the increased traffic volume causing vehicles to leave the sealed surface. Surface of road is uneven and creating a rough ride.Reconstruct road surface. Widen seal out to 7.4 metre and apply asphalt seal.Total cost of proposed project is $85,795
Chittering Road, Bindoon - 111169-20WA-RTR
Traffic volumes are increasing due to increased tourist and farm produce traffic. Seal width is narrow and causing vehicles to leave the bitumen seal creating road safety issues.Extend three culvert pipe crossings. widen carriageway out to 11 metres full length of project. widen seal out to 7.2 metres in width.Total cost of proposed project is $254,643
Glentor Road (Rural Road) - 111123-20QLD-RTR
The Glendower Crossing is a river crossing that becomes impassable for months during the wet season every year and can only be used when the river crossing dries out completelyExcavate sand from the river crossing to a depth of 5m x 8m wide. Placement of rock of various size across the river crossing including rock protection on the downstream side and construct a 200mm thick reinforced pavement deck approximately 130m long x 8m wideTotal cost of proposed project is $1,200,000
