Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Existing asphalt surface is 20 years old and has fatigue cracking.Mill off existing asphalt surface and reseal with asphalt. Length 380 metres. Width 8.3 metres.Total cost of proposed project is $131,164

Myrna Road, Strathfield, NSW 2135 - 111136-20NSW-RTR
Lots of crocodile cracks throughout the section, rutting. The riding quality and safety of pedestrian and vehicles will be improved once the works are complete. The roughness and skid resistance will be consistent and improve riding comfort.Mill and fill (AC 10 - 50mm depth) and heavy patching in the failed section with upto 120mm depth with AC 10 - 50mm plus AC 14 - 70mmm.
Wachee Street, Lockhart River - 111240-20QLD-RTR
The proposed areas of scope are considered a medium/high traffic area and is not currently sealed. As a result, airborne dust particles are transferred from the unsealed pavement to the adjoining Council workshop. Airborne dust particles are known to cause issues such as irritation of the eyes; coughing; sneezing; hay fever; and asthma attacks.Reconstructing 730m2 of existing pavement using 150mm of imported Type 2.2 Road Base covered with a 2 coat bitumen seal
Line Hill Road, lockhart River - 111242-20QLD-RTR

Road was originally the Old Eyre Hwy and is main access to Eucla Airstrip and Eucla Jetty, Old Telegraph Station and is in a degraded condition that requires gravel sheeting. Limited signage and roadside open drainage. Stage 2 of a 4 stage process to upgrade the road.Install new open drainage to both sides of the road. Add 125 mm of new gravel , reshape and water bind all material to a bitumen standard.
