Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Marryatt Street, Port Augusta - 052314-14SA-RTR
The current section of Marryatt Street (Mackay street to Flinders Terrace) is at end of life. Pavement and seal failures are evident and the kerbing is in need of replacement.It is suggested that a complete reconstruction, including new Pavement, Asphaltic seal and kerb and Spoondrain replacement.

Severe seal edge fretting and rutting along the inside of the corner caused by stormwater flow and vehicle encroachment.Undertake seal edge protection work and place 1000mm wide concrete dish channel around inside of corner.
Toorale Road (Rural Road) - 095445-17NSW-RTR
The approaches of the Tallyawalka Bridge are unsealed and debris being carried onto the bridge causing drainage problems.Sealing of the approaches to both sides of the bridge approaches.
Loveday Street, Goolwa - 095446-17SA-RTR
Significant surface deformation and crackingReseal surface with 7-10mm Spray seal for Goolwa Tce segment and intersection with asphalt, topstone maintenance and linemarking
Jenkins Road, Strathalbyn - 095447-17SA-RTR
Shoulder erosion, linear cracking and surface deformationReseal surface with 7-10mm spray seal, repair shoulders and undertake line markings
Toorale Road (Rural Road) - 095448-17NSW-RTR
The Tallyawalka Bridge over Tara Crossing has unsealed approaches to the bridge and debris is being carried onto the deck surface causing drainage problems.Sealing of both approaches to the bridge.
Billing Street, Whyalla Playford - 095449-17SA-RTR
The seal on Billing street has significant crocodile block cracking indicating that the seal has reached the end of it's life. Water is able to breach these cracks and is forming potholes weaking the structure of the road and causing a risk to motorists.Council is proposing to remove the existing seal and reseal the road with a 35mm aphalt hotmix overlay and a modified binder to absorb movement and prevent further cracking in the new seal
