Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Mila Road (Rural Road) - 095943-17NSW-RTR
This section of Mila Road has deteriorated as a result of a steady increase in heavy Vehicles servicing the Timber industry and the rural community. Several areas have been identified as requiring urgent Heavy Patching, and Drainage Maintenance.Clearing and reshaping of the table drains adjoining the failed pavement. Stabilising of Approx 2500M^2 to 250mm in depth with a 60/40 Slag/Lime. Application of a 10mm/AMC5 Primer Seal. Reinstate Guideposts and Signage.
Broadview Road (Rural Road) - 095945-17NSW-RTR
Broadview Bridge is a single span, single lane timber bridge 11m long by 4.2m wide on a Local Road providing access to local farmers. Recent condition inspections have identified several of the bridges elements that have deteriorated, and no longer meet the load rating required by the bridge. The substructure of the bridge is significantly deteriorated requiring many of the elements to be replaced.Construction of a temporary bypass Removal of existing bridge deck and substructure. Repairs to existing Abutments & Wingwalls. Replacement of the bridge with a modular 12M single span concrete deck. Reinstate both road approaches to meet the new bridge levels.. Replace signage and guide posts.Total cost of proposed project is $291,341
Bucky Springs Road (Rural Road) - 095944-17NSW-RTR
An increase in the size and frequency of heavy vehicle use has resulted in a significant deterioration of the pavement. Sections of the road have trees overhanging the road resulting in safety issues for heavy vehicle operation. Sections of the pavement that have failed have failing road drainage and table drains. Identified areas of the road have failing seal.Clearing and reshaping of the table drains adjoining the failed pavement. Removal/Pruning of identified overhanging Trees. Stabilising of Approx 1400 M^2 to 250mm in depth with a 60/40 Slag/Lime. Application of a 10mm/AMC5 Primer Seal. Reinstate Guideposts and Signage.

Seal has reached end of economic life with many failures present in the sealed surfaceReseal 2 km of sealed road.

Sealed surface has reached end of its economic life and has numerous surface failures.Reseal 3 km of sealed surface
