Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;

Hatch Road, rural road, - 097266-17WA-RTR
Existing culvert has deteriorated over time and no longer achieves it purpose and has collapsedClear vegetation to realign approaches, remove existing culvert infrastructure, reconstruct approaches and floodway crossing with installation of 1200mm x 450mm reinforced concrete box culvert 10m wide by 1.2m in length, install upstream and downstream concrete culvert end walls to a length of 5 meters each side, reconstruct gravel surface and apply a two coat bitumen seal using 14mm and 10mm aggregate for a length of 150m by 8m wide.
Kinlock Avenue, Murrumbeena - 097262-17VIC-RTR
The road surface, pavement and kerb and channel are dilapidated condition. The road has deteriorated over the years and uneven, showing signs of failures. Some matured trees on the nature strip have pushed the road kerb and channel and made the road very uneven and causing drainage problems. There is no sufficient drainage in the street either to drain the road surface runoff.The work involves installing new kerb and channel, reinstating failed pavement sections, providing asphalt patching to correct unevenness, asphalt resurfacing and providing adequate drainage to the street.Total cost of proposed project is $536,000
Binnu West Rd, Binnu - 097263-17WA-RTR
Section of road is located in an area that is fed with springs and the wetting of the base course is causing road to disintegrate and fails to hold bitumen a seal. It currently is of a gravel surface and that too becomes soft and water loggedReroute this section of road from the standard linear kilometer at 8.6 with a sweeping bend north of the failing section that will then by-pass this section and resolve the situation. Construct the new section to a width of 15m and the with a bitumen seal of 7.2m using a 14mm aggregate then a second coat seal using 10mm aggregate. Install drainage and guide posts. Council has progressed purchasing a portion of land (7.2 hectares) from the neighbouring land owner to allow construction of the new re-routed section.
Kalbarri Road, Ajana - 097264-17WA-RTR
Road shoulders on either side of bitumen are substandard and are basically of sand which is causing drainage and user issues where vehicle sif park on the shoulder often get boggedRemove 1.2 meters of existing material on both sides of road and re-instate with new gravel to reconstruct the shouldersTotal cost of proposed project is $300,300
Chilimony Road, rural road, - 097265-17WA-RTR
2017/18 widening works requires the second coat bitumen sealApply second coat bitumen seal using 10mm aggregate
Collick Street, Hilton WA - 097278-17WA-RTR
Site consists of very old asphalt surface with cracking and rutting. Received feedback from public during the traffic calming works in the Collick Street about the condition of this section.It is proposed to replace with dense graded asphalt 30 mm thickness.Total cost of proposed project is $105,038
Cherrywood Avenue, Wahroonga NSW - 097281-17NSW-RTR
Road surface and pavement layers are failing to an unsatisfactory standard.The treatment proposed is to remove the surface and pavement layers and replace with new material to a depth of 200mm.
Lorikeet Drive, Broome - 052494-14WA-RTR
Current main access points into Roebuck Estate residential subdivision can not cope with the increasing traffic volumes.To extend Lorikeet Drive through to Old Broome Road to provide an additional access road. Project will include new 300m long 7.4m wide kerbed and sealed road, fully channelised intersection upgrade with Old Broome Road, new streetlighting, footpaths and associated drainage.Total cost of proposed project is $1,178,233
Maxwell Street, South Turramurra NSW 2074 - 097289-17NSW-RTR
Road surface and pavement layers are failing to an unsatisfactory standard.The treatment proposed is to remove the surface and pavement layers and replace with new material to a depth of 100mm.Total cost of proposed project is $200,110
Cadoux-Koorda Rd (Rural Road) - 097206-17WA-RTR
Existing seal is too narrow for heavy haulage and seal is shoving/sinking.Cement stabilise and new seal to 7.5mTotal cost of proposed project is $171,760
