Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Salt River Road (rural road) - 097341-18WA-RTR
This 5.8km section of road has a 2 year old prime seal and requires resealing to significantly extend seal longevity.Reseal the 14mm aggregate prime seal with a 10mm aggregate reseal
Rabbit Proof Fence Road (Rural Road) - 097321-18WA-RTR
This section of road has very little gravel and due to heavy traffic develops large blow outs in the running surface and requires ongoing maintenance. This road is also a school bus run.Removal of silt and clearing of drains is required with reformation and compaction of sub grade material and overlay of 200mm of gravel and compact for 2.3km
Gleeson Road (Rural Road) - 097322-18WA-RTR
This section of road has very thin gravel in patches. Due to heavy harvest traffic large blow outs occur on this section of road causing driver hazard and ongoing high maintenance costsRemoval of silt and overburden, clearing of drains with reformation and compaction of sub grade and resheating with 200mm of gravel and compacting.
Adavale Road (rural road) - 097280-17QLD-RTR
The road surface gets slippery and dangerous for all road users during wet periods due to the clay top surface of the road.Provide a 8m wide gravel pavement - 150mm and then provide a two coat Bitumen seal - 7m wide.Total cost of proposed project is $977,307
Bibbawarra Road, Carnarvon - 097343-18WA-RTR
Pavement and seal damage due to truck movements to and from Horticultural Growers Cooperative Facility.Profile existing seal and pavement to remove defect areas. Place and compact corrective asphalt layer where required. Reseal full area with 40mm thick Dense Graded 14mm asphalt.
Rushton Street, Carnarvon - 097342-18WA-RTR
Existing seal at intersection and leadup area to intersection has multiple patches and previous repair areas. Requires asphalt resealing due to turning and stopping movements causing damage. Remainder of Rushton Street (A) was resealed in 2017. This work completes Rushton Street (A) resealing.Installation of a 40mm thick dense graded 14mm asphalt to the intersection area and its leadup area.
Spencer Road, Thornlie - 097329-18WA-RTR
road safety issues due to lack of traffic management treatments on a four lane undivided roadConstruct a wide median separating west and east bound carriageways, left and sight turn lanes, U-turn pockets, road widening, foot paths, improve service road accesses, upgrade drainage, landscaping new medians and verges and improve street lighting.Total cost of proposed project is $3,000,000
Richards Street, Kyabram - 097344-18VIC-RTR
This kerb and channel is at intervention level and needs to be renewed to protect the adjoining pavement and provide effective drainage. The kerb and channel is old and not functioning properly causing storm water build up.Replacement of a 734m section of kerb and channel. This section has been identified as requiring renewal based on condition and prioritised based on condition assessments.Total cost of proposed project is $436,787
Pettifer Street, Kyabram - 097345-18VIC-RTR
The kerb and channel is old and not functioning properly causing storm water build up.Replacement of a 365m section of kerb and channel. This section has been identified as requiring renewal based on condition and prioritised based on condition assessments.Total cost of proposed project is $193,659
Boyle Street, Echuca - 097346-18VIC-RTR
The kerb and channel is collecting storm water runoff and requires replacingReplacement of a 163m section of kerb and channel. This section has been identified as requiring renewal based on condition and prioritised based on condition assessments.Total cost of proposed project is $155,963
