Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Goldsworthy Road (Rural Road) - 052502-14WA-RTR
Heavy corrugation, loss of gravel, poor formation and inadequate drainage. Aged and weathered advisory signs and guideposts require replacement.The proposed works include reshaping of formation, cutting of drains, gravel sheeting and replacement of advisory signage and guideposts.
Brookton Kweda Road (Rural Road) - 097375-18WA-RTR
Poor alignment causing safety issues.Reseal 1km section reconstructed in 2017/18 Financial Year.Total cost of proposed project is $40,145
Tonderburine Road (Rural Road) - 097340-18NSW-RTR
This road is formed from natural sandy material and imported gravel. The road has a high percentage of heavy vehicles especially during harvest periods and during dry periods the pavement breaks up and forms loose sandy bog holes with deep lateral rutting. In the wet periods it becomes very slippery and boggy.Reshape road and gravel sheet – Win and cart gravel – Spread gravel at 6m wide X 130mm thick, compact to 100mm. Re-establish table and mitre drains.
Old Mill Road (Rural Road) - 097339-18NSW-RTR
Secondary Through road formed from natural sandy loam material which in wet conditions becomes slippery with deep ruts across the pavement and must be driven with care and in dryer times deep potholes form as well as deep corrugating.Reshape road and gravel sheet – Win and cart gravel – Repair any section of pavement that has blow-outs, Spread gravel at 6m wide X 130mm thick, compact to 100mm and re-establish table and mitre drains.
Mills Avenue, Moranbah - 097378-18QLD-RTR
Current surface is wearing excessively due to increased traffic and the surface is becoming damagedIt is proposed to upgrade the pavement and resurface with asphalt
Conlan Street, Queenstown - 097377-18TAS-RTR
Road surface is in a state of disrepair due to deteriorating sub-base.Road widening, levelling of road surface and improved line of sightTotal cost of proposed project is $885,000

Road pavement is distressed with cracks, potholes and patches due to increased traffic condition.Repair the pavement and resurface with asphaltic concrete.

Road shoulders have lost most of its surface stone and has started to deform and expose the subbase and to improve drainage, road safety and to preserve the assetReshape road by grading and addition of new stone to shoulders.
