Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Burness Road (rural) - 097459-18VIC-RTR
Road has lost most of its surface stone and has started to deform and expose the subbase material allowing water damage to road and create a hazard.Reshape by grading and addition of 75mm of new stone and shape road.
Konnongorring West Road (rural road) - 097461-18WA-RTR
Currently narrow 3.6 metre bitumen width road and is too narrow to cater for heavy vehicles resulting in vehicular conflicts.It is proposed to widen and seal from 3.6 metre seal width to a 7.0 metre 2 coat seal and reconstruct table drain and restore formation.
Beaufort Road (Rural Road) - 097391-18WA-RTR
The bitumen is deteriorating causing surface cracking and pot holes. This is also a heavy haulage and school bus route.Resealing bitumen surface.
Gillies St-Hannah Street - Rural Road - 052510-14VIC-RTR
Deterioration of sealed road surface, Loss of stone, cracking, oxidation of seal and pavement failure including roughness and breaking up of pavement surface to a condition where intervention is requiredRepair road surface and reseal 1750m of road
Gibney Road (Rural Road) - 097440-18WA-RTR
Inadequate material on road. Inadequate width of road. Poor drainage. Existing road base material is very degraded.Import new gravel material to road surface to imporove driving surface and width of road. Replace failed culverts install new culverts to improve road side drainage and reduce water logging in the road.Total cost of proposed project is $244,309
Hutton Road (rural road) - 097438-18WA-RTR
Poor drainage causing failure in road. Deterioration in road construction material, potholes and rutting in the road, poor road width.Repairing failing culverts, installing culverts to address poor road drainage, adding gravel to improve driving surface and improving road width to improve driver safety.Total cost of proposed project is $402,180
Langaweira Road (Rural Road) - 097443-18WA-RTR
Shoulders of road have completely failed. Loss of shoulder material.Import new material into road shoulder and seal road 1m each side for 1km.Total cost of proposed project is $127,065
Moverly Road, South Coogee - 097463-18NSW-RTR
Failed concrete road pavement as evidenced by cracking, crushing, breaking and displacement of concrete slabs. Also, displacement at cracks and joints.Demolish existing concrete pavements and construct flexible pavement.
Gregory Street, South Coogee - 097465-18NSW-RTR
Pavement failure as evidenced by crocodile cracking and slight rutting.150mm deep lift asphalt pavement reconstruction along section of failed road pavement and resheet to existing levels.
Meehan Lane, Matraville - 097464-18NSW-RTR
Potholes, delamination, stripping and ravelling of existing asphalt road surface.Mill off asphalt surface and resheet to existing levels.
