Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Acacia Vale Road, Charters Towers - 097922-18QLD-RTR
The seal has deteriorated over the whole section.It is proposed to reseal the roadway with a bitumen overlay.
Hayman Road, Two Wells - 097918-18SA-RTR
Sealed surface has reached end of service life and requires renewal to prevent base course damage. Problems being addressed are road user safety and overall road deterioration. Hayman Road is Councils sub arterial road to Lewiston.Reseal the surface and rectify edge breaks where required.Total cost of proposed project is $157,437
Dublin Road, Mallala - 097917-18SA-RTR
Sealed surface has reached end of service life and requires renewal to prevent base course damage. Problems being addressed are road user safety and overall road deterioration. Dublin Road is Councils northern connector to Port Wakefield Road and is a nominated Commodity Route.Reseal the surface and rectify edge breaks where required.Total cost of proposed project is $316,918
Yerecoin South East Road (Rural Road) - 097727-18WA-RTR
(1&2) Correct crossfalls on gravel shoulders on the narrow 3.7m wide seal which lack shape with crossfalls up to 6%. this creates problems for high loads when passing another high load. (3) This section of road transverses a a lake, there were problems with sub-soil moisture and drainage. There has been a history of pavement failures on this section. (4) A two barrel 900x1200 concrete box culvert requires extending and a second Single barrel 900x 1200 also needs to be extended. Guide posts and signage need to be installed.Sections 1&2: The shoulders will be boxed to 150mm D x 2m W and filled with gravel roadbase and compacted on both sides of the existing 3.7m seal. Section 3: This section has had sub-soil drainage installed, the pavement was reconstructed to 10m width during 2017/18, a two coat chip seal to 8m width will be applied. Section 4: A two barrel 900x1200 concrete box culvert will be extended to 12m in width requiring 4 new box sections. A single barrel 900x1200 box culvert will be extended to 12m in width requiring 2 new box sections. The concrete bases will require 3 cu/mts of concrete. Guide posts, Crest and other warning signs will be installed on all of the new work. The installation work will require Traffic Management, excavations for the concrete based to be poured into and stabilised pavement material to be compacted around the box sections.
Cummings Road (Rural Road) - 097908-18NSW-RTR
Existing road has a narrow seal and pavement , and increasing traffic leads to safety situation when cars are passing or overtaking.Reconstruction of road to 9m road formation with a 7m sealTotal cost of proposed project is $501,002
Alma Park Road (Rural Road) - 097907-18NSW-RTR
Road surface is in very poor conditionStabilisation and widening of road pavement and sealingTotal cost of proposed project is $244,842
Edison Parade - 052545-14NSW-RTR
The existing road surface is old, brittle and prone to cracking. Some sections of kerbs and gutters have been displaced by tree roots. Due to numerous cracks and other surface defects, the road is noisy and rough to drive on.The proposed work will include repair of damaged sections of kerbs and gutters, repair of failed pavement areas and resurfacing with asphalt. Length = 279 m; Width = 8.8 m; Area = 2455 m2.
Careys Ranges Road, Branxholme - 097894-18VIC-RTR
Poor pavement condition, crocodiling cracks, pot holes, edge drops, vegetation.Reconstruction of pavement and seal surface, clearing of vegetation, table drains, tree branches, shoulder resheeting, edge repair, pot holes repair.
Dunroamin Road, Charters Towers - 097926-18QLD-RTR
The seal has deteriorated over the whole section.It is proposed to reseal the roadway with a bitumen overlay.
