Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Hughes Road, Bargara - 097802-18QLD-RTR
Hughes Road is the North South distributor road which will connect Bargara with Elliott Heads. Watsons Road is a major Residential Collector road in Bargara. Traffic Safety issues will arise when Hughes Road is extended to cross Watsons Roadfully construct a roundabout intersection with asphalt surface, kerb and channel, drainage and street lightingTotal cost of proposed project is $1,600,000
Bundaleer Crescent, BENSVILLE - 097936-18NSW-RTR
There are two churches and a school on this road, leading to above average traffic volumes. Surface and pavement are in poor condition. Surface and pavement need rehabilitation.Pavement rehabilitation/stabilisation Asphalt wearing courseTotal cost of proposed project is $201,489
Springwood Street, UMINA - 097938-18NSW-RTR
Road is experiencing higher traffic volumes due to development on the Peninsula. Driving surface is too narrow and parking is poorly defined. Significant drainage problems reportedWiden the roadway to approximately 10.5 metres over length of 240 metres. Install kerb and gutter both sides and provide footpath one side. Construct stormwater drainage. Reconstruct road crown to drain correctlyTotal cost of proposed project is $750,801
Atherton Road, Oakleigh, Victoria 3166 - 097942-18VIC-RTR
Atherton Road has significant cross fall issues that are causing access issues into properties. There is little to no underground drainage and the kerb and channel is in the is in very poor condition and holds water in some locations. Due to this drainage problems are occurring.Reconstruction/rehabilitation of the existing road pavement to address poor crossfall of pavement and replacement of kerb and channel and driveways to address the poor access and replace kerb and channel to allow it to drain correctly and the construction of additional underground drainage within the road reserve to address the general drainage deficiency. The reconstruction includes the road width from back to back of kerb and channel and is approximately 780m in length. It may be required when placing drainage and improving the crossfall that the width of the road surface may be narrowed. Works will go over two financial years.Total cost of proposed project is $5,500,000
Coppin Road, Sorrento - 097667-18VIC-RTR
The existing road has significant amount of edge breaking due to the narrowness of the road. Given it also lies on a public bus route and school bus route it has been flagged as a priority for upgrade.Installation of kerb and channel including drainage improvements, asphalting, minor road widening. These works will compliment existing footpath construction works that the Mornington Peninsula Shire is going to construct.Total cost of proposed project is $932,841
Argyle Street - 097950-18VIC-RTR
Road pavement is cracking. There is also a primary school abutting this road and thus a lot of pedestrians crossing Argyle StreetRoad is to be reconstructed and additional traffic calming introduced adjacent to the Footscray West Primary SchoolTotal cost of proposed project is $446,529
Old Geraldton Road (Rural Road) - 097949-18WA-RTR
existing road is gravel which becomes slippery during winter and develops a dust hazard during summer which creates unsafe driving conditions. It is a school bus and heavy haulage routereconstruct existing gravel surface and apply a 7.00 metre wide two coat bitumen seal with 1.5 metre wide gravel shoulders
