Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Pyrenees Highway - 097967-18VIC-RTR
Pyrenees Highway is a Highway, which intersects with Gordon Road, seal width 4 metres, at an acute angle. The layout of the intersection has poor sight distance and is a traffic hazard for trucks and rural farm equipment entering Pyrenees Highway from Gordon Road.The existing pavement of the Gordon Road approach 60 metres long is to be reconstructed to square the intersection angle with the Pyrenees Highway with a 300 mm deep 6 metres to 15.7 metre wide seal, total pavement area 825 square metres and total seal area 737 square metres.Total cost of proposed project is $120,000
Brooklyn Road, Brooklyn - 097958-18NSW-RTR
Existing pavement has deteriorated and the roadway has drainage issues resulting from the lack of kerb and gutter. The current roadway and verges may be hazardous to pedestrians and cyclists.Realignment and construction of approximately 500m of road pavement including kerb and gutter, drainage, footpaths/shared paths and adjustments to property accesses.Total cost of proposed project is $2,500,000
Barwon Park Road, Inverleigh - 097728-18VIC-RTR
Existing narrow sealed road carrying increased traffic volumes, requires additional pavement and width to improve capacity and safety. Deficiencies being addressed are road edge shoulder deterioration, drainage improvements, pot holes and pavement failure.200mm thick granular re-sheet, widen and seal to 6.2m wide in accordance with Council's Road Strategy.

George Downes Drive, KULNURA - 097999-18NSW-RTR
This is a busy regional road with high volumes of heavy vehicle traffic. There are two quarries in the vicinity, which has resulted in worsening pavement and surface conditions including cracking and potholes.Heavy patching and reseal over a width of 6 metres and length approximately 720 metresTotal cost of proposed project is $172,202
