Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Murraylands Road (Rural Road) - 099201-18SA-RTR
Insufficient road base material on the unsealed road resulting in poor drainage and rough road surface.Resheeting the road surface with 100mm of crushed limestone sourced locally.
Murraylands Rd (Rural Road) - 099203-18SA-RTR
Five Council owned cattle grids have deteriorated and require replacing. This section of roads is an approved freight route and the grids require replacing to ensure over mass vehicles can cross safely.Replacement of five cattle grids, including surrounding site reinstatement.Total cost of proposed project is $125,022
Long Gully Road (Rural Road) - 099214-18NSW-RTR
The existing causeway is old and sections of concrete have failed. The length of the causeway is 15.5 metres and the width is 5.7 metres.It is proposed to renew the causeway.
Hemmings Road, Upper Barron - 099175-18QLD-RTR
Hemmings Road is identified as an aging unsealed pavement with significant gravel loss, potholing and scouring.Proposed re-sheet distance of 1767m and a width of 3.5m. Proposed works include, import place and compact a 100mm layer of quarry manufactured Type 2.5 gravel material to be reformed road surface. Clean/reshape existing roadside drainage. Remove, clean and reinstate/renew associated roadside furniture.Total cost of proposed project is $51,840
Plath Road, Upper Barron - 099176-18QLD-RTR
Plath Road, Upper Barron is identified as an aging unsealed pavement with significant gravel loss, potholing and scouringProposed re-sheet distance of 701 and a width of 3.6m/ proposed works include import place and compact a 100m layer of quarry manufactured Type 2.5 gravel material to the reformed road surface. Clean/reshape existing roadside drainage. Remove, clean and reinstate/renew associated roadside furniture.Total cost of proposed project is $25,413
Scottish Avenue, Clovelly Park - 052624-14SA-RTR
There is surface polishing, several patches and some failed areas. This is a low traffic volume roadEdge plane the asphalt 30mm, patch with deep lift where there are pavement failures, then complete the seal with a 30mm AC Light Traffic Mix – 3125 sq m
Thomas Road, East Barron - 099178-18QLD-RTR
Thomas Road, East Barron is identified as an aging unsealed pavement with significant gravel loss, potholing and scouring.Proposed re-sheet distance of 948m and width of 4.5m. Proposed works include, import place and compact a 100mm layer of quarry manufactured Type 2.5 gravel material to the reformed road surface. Clean/reshape existing roadside drainage. Remove, clean and reinstate/renew associated roadside furniture.
Logan Street, Kingaroy - 099212-18QLD-RTR
Logan street is an unsealed road in an urban area. This results in dust and safety issue which needs to be addressed.It is proposed to provide 150mm of pavement and seal using a 2 coat bitumen seal to a width of 6.0m.

Intersection improvements required to ease access and line of sight for vehicles travelling to Punsand Bay or Pajinka Road.Construction of a new T-sectionTotal cost of proposed project is $66,413

Existing asphalt surface is cracking and opening up which is allowing moisture into pavement.Carry out crack sealing with flexible asphalt sealing compound
