Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Existing pavement and seal is worn out and has extensive cracking and deformation.Reconstruct and widen pavement due to evidence of pavement failure.Total cost of proposed project is $318,068

Pavement failure ,cracks on the road safety issue for the students to walk to the school.Replacement of pavement with new imported standard gravel , construction of drainage , kerb and channel ,and double coat seal.Total cost of proposed project is $400,000
Charlotte Street,Cooktown - 099270-18QLD-RTR
It is the main street in Cooktown with kerb to kerb with 21meters, but only 7meters road is sealed and rest 7meters on either side is gravel . The sealed section has got pavement failure with potholes and cracks, the gravel section creates dust in the middle of town.It is proposed to reconstruct the whole width of the road from kerb to kerb (21 meters) with new pavement and Asphalt surfacing. The thickness will be 50mm in the intersections and 30mm in the rest of the road.Total cost of proposed project is $1,000,000
Buhmann Street, Cooktown - 099269-18QLD-RTR
Dirt road in between two sealed section's, dust and safety issues to local residents.Preparation of subgrade, pavement work, drainage works and double coat bitumen sealing.Total cost of proposed project is $140,000
Woodbury Road (Rural Road) - 099308-18NSW-RTR
Road is scheduled for resealing as per Council's Asset Management Plan. Seal is showing signs of minor cracking, texture wearing and pothole/edge minor damageReseal of road with a 14 mm seal. Seal will be 7m wide for a length of a 3.257 km. Total area to be resealed is 22,799 sqm
Wanganella - Moulamein Road - 099307-18NSW-RTR
Road is scheduled for re-sealing as per Councils's Asset Management Plan. Seal is showing signs of minor cracking, surface wearing and pothole/edge minor damage.Reseal of road with a 10 mm seal. Seal will be 5 metre wide for a length of 3.942kilometres. Total area to be resealed is 19,710 sqm
Lakers Road (Rural Road) - 099311-18NSW-RTR
Road is scheduled for resealing as per Council's Asset Management Plan. Seal is showing signs of minor cracking, texture wearing and pothole/edge minor damage.Reseal of road with a 14 mm seal. Seal will be 6 metre wide for a length of 3.488 km. Total area to be resealed is 20,928 sqmTotal cost of proposed project is $93,884
