Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Fifth Avenue, Mount Isa - 099255-18QLD-RTR
Restoration of a failed pavement which as reached end of service life. Surface is uneven and covered with repair work. Pavement is heavily utilised by school traffic based traffic and is of a safety concern.Rehab Pavement + Asphalt Overlay
Twenty Third Avenue, Mount Isa - 099257-18QLD-RTR
Irregular pavement surfacing with pavement having reached end of service life. Pavement high maintenance at present and potential safety concern with loose stones and irregular surface generated by potholes. Road is also a heavy vehicle by pass and services a number of schools.Resurface Pavement with Asphalt
Flacknell Creek Road (Rural Road) - 052645-14NSW-RTR
Lack of gravel, surface rutting, poor shape and inadequate drainage.It is proposed to rectify the problems with this section of road by installing additional mitre drains and cleaning the existing drains. The road will then be tyned and re-shaped. Following this new gravel will be imported, spread and compacted. The road will then be trimmed to its final shape.
Rocklands Road - 099258-18QLD-RTR
Areas of pavement breaking down into deep bulldust patches making road difficult access safely without damage to heavy transport and light vehicles accessing communities and propertiesFormation work with sections resheeted and compacted. Work will include drainage and shoulder work associated with section being treated.
Urandangi Road, Mount Isa - 099259-18QLD-RTR

Narrow sections, pavement seal failures and drainage problems.Council propose to re-sheet pavement, compact, conduct formation grading and make necessary repairs to gravel flood ways to improve stormwater drainage.Total cost of proposed project is $86,495
Carina Ave, Mount Isa - 099442-18QLD-RTR
Bitumen cracking. corrugation and pavement failure due to moisture infiltration are the defects that need to be addressed on this section of road. The pavement will continue to deteriorate should no maintenance works done to this section of road.Scarify existing pavement and add type 2.1 base materials to improve road pavement. Council will reconstruct the road to Council standard with 2-coats bitumen seal surface treatment.
North Street, Mount Isa - 099443-18QLD-RTR
Stripping and bitumen cracking causing water infiltration to the pavement which causes pavement failure. It is expected that road will continue to deteriorate should Council do not address the problem.Council is proposing to do pavement rehabilitation works by scarifying the existing pavement add type 2.1 base materials to improve road pavement. The re-constructed road to Council standard will be sealed with 2-coats bitumen seal.Total cost of proposed project is $142,600
Mary Street, Merredin - 099391-18WA-RTR
Surface correction, the current asphalt surface is cracked and failing.profile the existing surface to a depth of 25 mm and re-asphalt.
Kokotungo Don River Road, (Rural Road) - 099448-18QLD-RTR
Deterioration of the road surface due wear.Rehabilitation and reseal of road to repair deterioration.Total cost of proposed project is $349,575
