Moppity Road ( Rural Road) - 099806-18NSW-RTR
Aged and cracked bitumen sealed surface allowing moisture into pavement.Reseal pavement surface
Meckering Road (Rural) - 099782-18WA-RTR
Seal is 5.6m wide and has oxidized and past life cycle for resealing. Road has continual subgrade and seal failures causing higher than normal maintenance. There is a safety risk to all road users with the failing narrow seal.Widen vegetation, widen culverts, widen gravel pavement to 10m wide, overlay both sections with quality gravel and use stabilizer to wet mix existing seal into new gravel overlay. Final trim and spray new 2 coat seal to 7.2m wide.Total cost of proposed project is $705,840
Goddard Street - 099839-18WA-RTR
Speeding and rat-running along the route.Install a raised intersection at the two intersections in order to treat traffic over a longer section of Goddard Street. There will also be verge widening, kerb reconstruction and drainage improvements at the intersection.Total cost of proposed project is $105,754
Bevendale Road (Rural Road) - 052657-14NSW-RTR
Lack of gravel, surface rutting, poor shape and inadequate drainage. It is proposed to rectify the problems with this section of road by installing additional mitre drains and cleaning the existing drains. The road will then be tyned and re-shaped. Following this new gravel will be imported, spread and compacted. The road will then be trimmed to its final shape.
Gallipoli Street - 099838-18WA-RTR
Speeding and rat-running along the route.Install a raised intersection at the two intersections in order to treat traffic over a longer section of Gallipoli Street. There will also be verge widening, kerb reconstruction and drainage improvements at the intersection.Total cost of proposed project is $191,093
King Street - 099831-18NSW-RTR
Aged culvert and surface drainage ponding issues, road surface quality deterioration and linemarkingReplacement of existing box culvert with round pipe and reshaping of downstream levels to accommodate change in drainage. Resurfacing of road where required.
Warry Gate Road, (Rural Road) - 099787-18QLD-RTR
This road has high heavy vehicle movements for mining and livestock transport. Gravel waterway crossing is regularly washed out and scoured by floodwater during rain events causing extended road closures. Road closures and speed restrictions cause loss of productivity to road users. Regularly damage to the crossing during rain events is an ongoing road safety issue, and a high maintenance cost to Council.Installation of a concrete floodway will reduce ongoing maintenance costs to Council and provide a safer and more reliable crossing for road users. R2R funding is complementary to NDRRA funding for gravel crossing repairs after the 2016 activated NDRRA flood events.
Innamincka Road, (Rural Road) - 099784-18QLD-RTR
The existing bitumen road has failed due to high use by heavy vehicles associated with regional mining operations. The bitumen seal has broken up leaving large pot holes in the road creating dangerous driving conditions. The road is to be reconstructed by incorporating extra gravel into the existing pavement and then applying a new bitumen seal.
Muronbung Road (Rural Road) - 099750-18NSW-RTR
Road is too narrow to cater for heavy vehicles resulting in vehicular conflicts and poor alignment of curve/crest is a road user safety issueDrainage upgrades will be undertaken where required to facilitate road widening. It is proposed to reshape the curve/crest to 100km/h design speed. The road base will be replaced and resealed.Total cost of proposed project is $1,800,000
Ankers Road (Rural Road) - 099762-18VIC-RTR
Condition of the deck has deteriorated to a point where the carrying load limit has been reduced from standard.Bridge No 117. It is proposed to upgrade the bridge decking with a new concrete decking to restore its carrying capacity to standard.
