Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Embletons Rd, Trafalgar East - 122220-22VIC-RTR
Existing road pavement has extensive failures resulting in surface damage, water ingress and pavement failure at numerous locations along the identified section.Repair treatment to be lime and cement stabilisation with 100 metre FCR overlay and a C170 spray seal wearing course to achieve seal width of 6.2 metres. Also included shoulder and drain formation works.
Wandoo Crescent (Rural Road) - 122243-22WA-RTR
Wandoo Crescent has a steep road gradient which results in deep shoulder scouring which blocks culverts and causes water and debris to scour across O'Connell Road.Repair and re-instate table drain with rock pitching to slow water movement, install larger culverts across Wandoo Road, install a table drain around Wandoo Crescent onto O'Connell Road and re install gravel up to 100mm thick.
O'Neill Rd - 122239-22WA-RTR
Poor drainage, degradation of pavement and inadequate camber on the road.Installation of culverts and repair vertical alignment to improve drainage, resheet and reshape road.
Jones Rd - 122240-22WA-RTR
Road requires widening to comply with Restricted Access Vehicle (RAV) standards and requires resheeting as very little gravel in pavement. Road is on the School Bus Route. Road scours in winter due to inadequate crossfall on road.Repair drainage to prevent scouring, widen road and resheet to enable the pavement to adequately take heavy vehicle loading.
Corackerup Rd - 122241-22WA-RTR
Pavement requires drainage improvements and resheeting. Road gets very wet and slippery during winter. Blow outs occur, especially durring harvest. It's on the school bus route.Remove old butt joint culverts and replace with new rubber ring spigot and socket type culverts. Improve V-drains. Resheet pavement and improve camber of road.
Pinnacle Rd - 122242-22WA-RTR
Road has a number of large blow outs. Very little gravel in pavement and culverts require replacing. Potentially could be on the school bus route next year.Road requires resheeting. Reshape pavement to improve crossfall. Remove and replace old butt joint culverts. Recut existing V-drains
Melaluka Road - 052781-14VIC-RTR
The road has extreme depressions and the pavement is in poor condition due to excessive cracking of seal allowing water to penetrate and cause pavement damageFinal stage of reconstruction of approximately 1.4kms of road by excavating old material and providing for new pavement and seal with composition of geotextile fabric over existing sub-grade, 200mm crushed limestone and 40mm scalp mix sub-base course, 200mm crushed rock base course and 50mm asphalt seal. Stage 1 works commenced in March 2014 and completed in June 2014
