Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

Little Bay Scenic Drive (rural road) - 122419-22SA-RTR
Road is deteriorating quicker than expected due to recent heavy localised rains causing flooding, leading to potholling and rutting. Is a very high use tourist road, including by bus charters visiting the Wirangu Reconciliation Monument at Little Bay.Full re-sheeting of road to Category 1 Standard with a slight realignment to increase runoff and decrease the amount of water pooling.Total cost of proposed project is $81,699
Talia Caves Road (rural road) - 122420-22SA-RTR
Road sheet deterioration, rutting and potholling along entire road length and complete loss of sheet in several areas. Have experienced very high rains and flooding in this are over the past few years and a very high increase in traffic volumes, mostly RVs, Caravans and Bus charters.Full re-sheeting of road to Category 1 Standard.Total cost of proposed project is $433,078
Water Supply Road, Bonniefield(Rural Road) - 122428-23WA-RTR
Lack of remaining gravel on the existing road surface.Propose to re-sheet the road for the length of 5.00 km to a width of 9 meters. Works to include the re-instatement of V drains and installation of new safety traffic signs and guide posts.Total cost of proposed project is $210,000

Road formation and the unsealed gravel surface is worn, degraded and losing shape. Drainage in the area is poor and requires improving the function of the existing roadside drainage assets.Reform and resheet the unsealed road formation, upgrade the roadside drainage including table drains and offshoot drains and constructing new roadside drainage elements including localised unsealed floodways.
Duncan Road (Rural Road) - 122435-23WA-RTR

Range Road (rural road) - 122443-23WA-RTR
Range Road (rural road) located east of the townsite of Pingrup is a major arterial road and heavy traffic use causing corrugations in existing gravel and constantly blowing out causing dangerous driving conditions. This road is a major grain truck and school bus route. This is a continuation of sealing project from previous financial years with the future plan to have the entire length of the road sealed.1) Locate and identify services. 2) Implement Traffic Management. 3) Removal and disposal of redundant material and debris. 4) Undertake vegetation clearing. 5) Undertake drainage works. 6) Undertake earthworks to design levels. 7) Import gravel. 8) Place 200mm gravel subbase (9200m3) compacted to Dry Density Ratio of 95%. 9) Place 200mm gravel base course (9200m3) compacted to Dry Density Ratio of 98%. 10) Trim batter slopes to 1:4 gradient. 11) Carry out compaction testing . 12) Bitumen sealing still to follow after wet season.
