Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Stonehenge River Road - (Rural Road) - 122492-23QLD-RTR
Existing grids and approaches do not meet Longreach Regional Council Transport Safety Regulations.Removal of existing grids and installation of compliant grid structures, approaches and signage.Total cost of proposed project is $225,000
Donnelly Road (rural road) - 122512-23WA-RTR
The existing seal is very old and failing and potholes regularly form.Place a spray seal over the existing seal.
Massey Avenue, Reservoir - 122501-23VIC-RTR
The road pavement shows signs of pavement failure and needs pavement rehabilitation. Also, the existing intersection of Amery Street and Massey Avenue needs to be reconstructed to address the turning path of the heavy vehicle and improve the safety of the intersection.Reconstruct the failed road base with appropriate depth, design and construct the intersection treatment according to the Road safety audit recommendation. Seal the road from Pallant Avenue to Bray StreetTotal cost of proposed project is $830,000
Ward Street, Manjimup - 122510-23WA-RTR
The existing seal is very old and potholes are regularly formed during winter.Place an asphalt overlay on the existing seal.
Old Vasse Road gravel resheet (rural road) - 122508-23WA-RTR
The existing road has sections with little or no gravel and as a result potholes and corrugations are common.Import and shape gravel to form a 100 millimetre thick pavement; place guideposts as required.
Clarke Road (rural road) - 122507-23WA-RTR
The existing road has little to no gravel on it and therefore corrugations and potholes are common.Imports and shape gravel to form a 100 millimetre thick gravel pavement.
Mitchelldean Road (rural road) - 122506-23WA-RTR
The existing road has sections that lack gravel and therefore corrugations and potholes are common.Grade the existing road surface then import and shape gravel to form a 100 millimetre thick road pavement; install guideposts as necessary
Channybearup Road (rural road) - 122500-23WA-RTR
The existing road pavement is failing in many locations with large deformations, potholes and cracking; the road width is too narrow and shoulders almost non-existent. A culvert needs to be replaced as the existing pipes are coming apart from each other resulting in further failures to the road.Remove the existing culvert and replace it with new pipes and headwalls; import, spread and compact gravel to for a 9 metre pavement for a 7 metre spray seal with 1 metre unsealed shoulders each side of the road. Place guideposts as required.Total cost of proposed project is $450,000
Browns Lane, Coleraine - 052802-14VIC-RTR
Existing pavement has weakened and requires reconstruction.Vegetation clearing, drain reshaping, pipe culvert repairing, pavement stabilisation, and bitumen spray sealing.
Cross Road (Rural Road) - 122516-23SA-RTR
Insufficient road base material remaining on the road, resulting in poor drainage and rough driving conditions for road users.Resheeting of the road surface with 100mm of raw limestone, sourced locally and crushed in situ.
